Sirius could hear the tone of concern that Kat had for Emilia. She was scared something bad had happened and she couldn't do anything about it. He wanted to reassure her again that everything would be alright, but since their friendship has been from the very beginning, a newcomer such as himself would probably be considered as an invalid opinion. That became a stressful thought to Sirius, although he didn't exactly know if that was the way Kat had thought about him.
He only met them in the beginning of the highschool years. Although he became closely tied to the group, he never felt as if he's included in their friendship. Something inside of him tells him that he was just another figure in the group who wants to be like them. Even if they tried to fit him in, they were probably forced to do it so that it feels as if they're taking him in.
It was wishful thinking, believing that he was a part of them.
"And not because of food, damn it!" Daniel's laugh wasn't as relaxed as it usually was. Even though a smile curled around the edges of his lips, his eyes were showing just as much concern for their friend Emilia. The situation was only intensifying as it came to a stop. He turned away from Kat and waited for the teacher to arrive-- which was different compared to the usual Daniel. He must have his mind on the missing Emilia as well. Should Sirius be concerned too, then? The thought lingered as he sighed…
The bell roared loudly and students began to take their seats as the door flung themselves open and a different teacher walks right in ready for the next lesson which was History. The entire lesson for both Kat and Daniel was probably spent on thinking about Emilia while Sirius had his mind on different terms. He started to slowly pity himself for not being able to worry about Emilia as a friend. He knows for sure that she just wouldn't turn up for no reason, yet he felt no worries about it. Like there was some other reason she might have and don't want to tell the group.
Kat, as he could see from where he was sitting was having big trouble concentrating her history work. He would see her head turn to look at something, which was her phone and back towards the book and the blackboard-- with each turn towards the phone reminding him that Emilia still didn't get in touch with her. Daniel in front was taking the lesson a little bit more seriously, perhaps because of his focus towards the missing Emilia, how he feels that he must probably try and be of help for Kat when he could. He could see a small spot of sweat hidden in the countless strands of hair.
During the middle of the lesson, Kat turned her head towards Daniel. What was she thinking, Sirius wondered. Daniel was working quite diligently out of the ordinary. He seemed to try and understand on what the teacher was explaining and had done a lot of writing. Perhaps there was a studious side of Daniel in him after all. He was always the airhead of the group just like Kat. His focus was directly on the lesson as his head didn't turn to notice Kat staring and looking. He rather tried to ignore it. From where he could see, Daniel sometimes turned and quickly moved his head back to his book when he saw Kat.
Time continued to pass by, undoubtedly filled with worries and concern for his two friends in front. When the lunch-time bell rung everybody just upped with their lunches and leave the classroom orderly. The teacher packed up his things before leaving for his lunch too. Soon it left with Kat, Daniel and Sirius left in the classroom. The airhead picked up his wallet and lunch box while Sirius stood up with a bunch of papers and his bag. "Like I said to Ebony before… I'll hand the schedule back to her first. I'll see you guys after I'm done with it." He smiled at the two and moved through the alley of desks, leaving Daniel and Kat to themselves now as he heads for the classroom next door.
"Well… Looks like it's a temporary date with the both of us then!" Daniel jokingly said to Kat with a small wink. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!" He threw his fist into the air before marching out of the classroom with Kat all the way downstairs, out into the garden passing through the big rock and into the back of the building where they usually sat. Everything felt different without Emilia. The place certainly gotten quieter than normal, at least that's not until Kat and him began to argue with one another. "Hey Kat, just tell me honestly… You're worried because you won't get enough food right?" He tries to elaborate himself with what he meant. "I mean, like, if you REALLY are hungry you can take my lunch… I'll be alright without eating." His eyes swatted themselves away.
