Mario There was a dying alien lying in front of Mario and the others. The weird centaur was going to die, whether through losing too much blood from his wounds or by some futuristic technology that Mario could not even begin to comprehend. All that Mario knew was that the War Prince was going to die. Something was jamming their cellular reception, so there would be no help from anyone in town. Furthermore, Mario doubted that they could even carry the blue alien to the hospital, and even if they could, they would never see him again. Whatever government agency was responsible for extraterrestrial encounters would be on the War Prince faster than insects on sugar. Max was still emotional about the War Prince’s decaying condition. She could not see the bigger picture, or rather what had just happened. They had no phone reception and no means to transport the alien. They had to accept the fact that he was going to die. While Max was still trying to ‘save’ the War Prince in vain, Mario headed toward the alien ship in order to retrieve the cube that the blue centaur had just mentioned. After scanning the cockpit of the Prince’s ship, Mario discovered the blue box. It eerily reminded Mario of the Tesseract (or the Cosmic Cube) from Marvel’s The Avengers. Despite his conscience telling him not to touch it, Mario reached down in order to retrieve the cube. Mario was pleasantly surprised that the cube did not vaporize him as he picked it up. Mario returned to the dying centaur, holding the Tesseract-like object in his hand. The Italian extended his hand out to the War Prince, offering the item to him. “Is this what you wanted?”
