Hunter took a moment to take a breath, focusing his thoughts. Prioritize. No one was hurt too badly. In fact, it looked like only Hunter even sustained injuries in the first place. Odd, considering the chaos that was happening. He chocked it up to bad luck on his part. He nodded as Blake picked Stephen up. "Thanks Jiro. Pretty sure I'd just drop him if I tried. "Ego, behave. Hunter, you shoulder looks injured. May I take a look at it?" The boy winced, flexing the shoulder back and forth to try and figure the extent of the damage. He gave a nod to Id. "When we get to the courtyard, yeah. Come on..." The sniper hefted the rifle, immediately regretting it as the strap dug into the bite wound. Fortunately, his incredibly high pain tolerance allowed him to mostly ignore it, or at least not show pain on his face. He holstered his pistol, then headed towards the stairs, passing by Immortalis and Eika. He reached up and patted her hand as he passed. "I got scratched, nothing big. No one else seems hurt though. Glad you're okay as well." Heading down the stairs, he mentally went over his observations from the fight, and all the problems that had occurred that could have been avoided. Ignoring the incredible stupidity of whoever decided the students wouldn't have any faculty support during their patrols, there had been no organization, no communication. The pairs had dealt with their problems on a situational basis, leaving the rest of the school to burn if whoever floaty dude was hadn't stepped in. Hunter had been placed on the ground, a terrible position considering his skills. Eika's summons were powerful, but were wasted with pairing her with the long distance guy. As well, Eika couldn't stay on the front lines without putting herself at risk, which would easily take the familiars out of the fight when they try to defend her. Jace was a shield, why was he paired with a medic like Blake? It was like anyone who could ACTUALLY handle a straight fight were stuck together while all the supports were left to fend for themselves. It was an oversight of the faculty, a nearly fatal one that almost cost them the academy. As for the students themselves...Hunter gave a low sigh as they entered the courtyard, eyes roaming until they found the man responsible for saving them. He frowned, not recognizing him at all. Odd, seeing as Hunter was aware of more people than most. All he wanted was to curl up in his bed and go to sleep, maybe take a shower...but he knew that wasn't an option at the moment. He made a bee line straight for the man.
