Are you asking if you need to read all the posts so far? I won't make you do that before participating, but ideally you'd eventually get through those first pages if only to be able to understand what's going on. A good compromise would be to read through the Compendium on the first IC page, since that won't take near so long and has summaries of everyone's Keepers and dungeons, as well as most plot characters.
