After debating with himself for several minutes for a good reason not to go, he noticed a man approach him, his head turning slightly to look at the person walking towards him. He looked at the mask, wishing it wasn't there. He knew the point was that you wouldn't recognize the person behind it, but it was still very frustrating not being able to see the face completely. However, his attention was caught by the package that was shook at him, revealing his second favorite thing in the world. Cigarettes. Now this, was a good distraction. Two fingers carefully grabbed one, putting it to his lips, where he grabbed his lighter from his pocket. He always carried one. He lit it, taking a deep breath in. Same as the man, a plume of white smoke escaped his mouth as he breathed out, listening to him speak as he put his own lighter away. 

A small chuckle escaped his throat at what he said about the masquerade. He said," And what exactly happens outside?" As the man took off his mask, he removed his own, glancing at the rather large mask before tucking it into his pocket as much as he good, not desiring it to fall out. He actually liked the mask, the tuxedo he could care less about. 

He watched him, nodding as he introduced himself, and introducing himself afterwards," and mine's Liam. And prohibited or not, didn't stop me when I was younger." He grinned slightly, then even more so at his next statement, emitting a small laugh. He then spoke," truth be told, I was standing here waiting for a reason to get out of it." He held out the cigarette partially," you gave me one."

As he walked away, he followed, his feet brushing over the grass, looking towards the forest. He wasn't feeling a hint of regret of ditching the masquerade at all, this would be more exciting then that could ever be. He spoke," this seems to be the perfect place to hang out, creepy enough to scare others away." He let out a faint chuckle," and here I thought I'd have to hide out inside my room if I ever wanted some alcohol.
