Man, I just realized. I don't think it's possible to play a Field Spell during an Action Duel. Imma have to fix my Deck a bit.

@Archmage: Those Decks would probably be vetoed in this game because they don't follow a certain form of Summoning.

@Welsh: 6'3", and he's 14? I also don't like that he's in a Synchro course and uses some Xyz. Then you have a "Number" monster, which is a no-no unless you have some kind of uber back story as far as how he'd get it. Then my OCD is begging for this to be at least pseudo-sorted into Monsters, Spells, and Traps, but that's optional. And this last bit is a just-in-case-you-want-to-be-modern thing: ARC-V changed the Duel Disk design again. They seem to be made using Solid Vision with Mass, and slightly resemble the energy-based disks used by the Emperors of Yliaster in 5D's. See for yourself. Not going to stop you from using that kind of Duel Disk. Just wanted you to see in case that would change your mind.

@Josh: I like, but I figured I should show you that you aren't going to be the only one in the Fusion Course who uses "Gem-Knights". This girl is actually one of LDS's top students. Not something you have to change, but something I figured I'd inform you of. Then the last sentence of the first paragraph of Amelia's "Personality" section is cut short, too. However, I'm loving the heart condition thing. That really puts a unique spin on things. Other than that cut-off sentence, everything's good. I'll go on ahead and add it on the first post since that's all it needs fixed and I'll probably forget later if I don't do it now.

Also fixed Amelia's app. I was unsure about the heart condition, as it's something I always add but get mixed responses too.

I've liked most of the anime. The only one I've hated is ZEXAL (kid hitting puberty while having muscles like he works out continually and appearing 6'00" tall doesn't appeal to me), and GX I wasn't as big a fan of as the others, but I've loved the original, 5D's, and now I'm liking ARC-V quite a lot.

About the heart condition: I personally think it adds a lot more depth to the character when you add a weakness such as that. It's like me saying Brent has a fear of heights. When you look at some of the Action Fields, that's actually kind of ironic.

So when I post the IC, it's going to open with an exhibition Duel for enrolling new students. One of the participants is Brent, but I need to know who his opponent will be. Does anyone want to sign up, or should I make a generic character for him to Duel?

Duel Amelia if you want. I want to say Joshua is already a student since he's in 8th grade but that's your call. Also, I don't have the gusto deck built IRL, but I have it on DN.

Also, word of warning, Amelia's heart condition can be fatal and will leave her exhausted if she suffers an attack.

It's not an entrance exam. Just showing off to potential students as a display of "how awesome they will become" if they join LDS.

Man I've been trying to get a good machine deck, but I can't get one to work. Ancient Gears is too weak, Machina/gadget combo doesn't suit my playing style, Mecha Phantom Beasts..... I dunno, that has potential, but I can't figure out how to make a deck with it.

@Josh: If we get too many people, I'll make a few of the people here Assistant GMs based on the different Summoning Courses. I'd stay in charge of Fusion, Scar'd probably be my first pick for a Special Summon GM, etc.

@Scar: I'd bet you could get a good Ancient Gear Deck together if you looked hard enough. I'll try to look into it, but DN isn't cooperating with me right now, so it may be a bit difficult.

Why not add the machina union monsters? They could be useful

My monsters the unions equip to get sent back to hand, making them useless.
