Name: Lily Strider Age: 28 Sex: Female Alternative Form: Nine-Tailed Fox - Half-Fox & Full Fox forms. Human Apperance:

Lily is roughly 170 high with a somewhat athletic build with a few muscles, but nothing extraordinary, being visible. Her hair is dark brown and falls around her shoulders in gentle waves, reaching just past her shoulder blades. A pair of equally brown eyes peek out from beneath a pair of light eyebrows, with a straight, and a little small, nose. Her lips are of a faint rosy colour, giving some the impression of a permanent lip gloss. She's nothing extraordinary when it comes to womanly assets either, being medium in just about everything. She is, in fact, rather plain and just another girl. Shifter Appearance Appearance: Humanoid/Half-Fox version

Shameless steal, I know, but it was the best picture I could find that was halfway decent. Please note that she doesn't necessarily wear those clothes, though. Larger version of the picture is here: http://i.gyazo.com/463cbc1acfb47850519cd571ead46606.png Jet black hair so long that it reaches to the base of her tails, often kept in a braid in this 'shape' as it simply is easier to deal with that way, although there is enough hair to cover where her human ears are. Her eyes are a striking summer blue with slitted pupils, giving her a slightly feral look. She still has the nine tails, each of them white in this form as well. Each of the tails are about as long as she is tall. A pair of sharp fangs jut up from where her canines would be, giving her toothy smiles a bit of a dangerous edge to it. It also makes her bites that much more painful. Another thing that should be noted is that, in this form, she is the epitome of feminine beauty in accordance with the legends, with full lips, long eyelashers and so on; something which she's actually rather fond of, if she had to say so herself. Where her nails are usually kept short, they are quite long when she's half-fox, with an ever so slight point to them, and coloured a purple-ish blue. Aside from that her hips become ever so slightly wider, as does her bosom become a fair bit larger. Where before her body had been somewhat tough thanks to her developing muscles and athletic life-style, they now softened; giving her a body devoid of hardened muscles but rich with pleasant curves. Her facial structure also changes as well, becoming more sharper and a little angled; more fox-like as opposed to the roundness it had before. Her eyes, especially, change from slightly being placed. In her Full Fox form, she is covered in a coat of white fur and is about the size of a Great Dane (dog), albeit a few centimetres smaller which puts her shoulder height at about 80 centimetres, and built in a much sturdier way which gives her some almost wolf-like qualities. Her body-length here is roughly 140 centimetres. Her nine tails, in this shape, are almost as long as her entire body, stopping just short of 120 centimetres in length. Her eyes are also yellow in this shape, but instead of a sickly and feral yellow colour, it's almost golden and shines with intelligence. Abilities: Athletic and flexible, skilled at gymnastics, and a very fast and agile runner. Also views herself as quite the good singer with “the voice of an angel” if her old pupils were to be trusted. She's also quite proficient at hand-to-hand combat (Jiu-Jitsu). Powers: True to the mischievous and trickster nature of the Kitsune in the legends, Lily's magical skills are focused mostly around illusions, enabling her to trick the senses of those around her; create ghost sounds and touches and make them see things that are not there. She has yet to fully master this ability, even if she knows that her current skills are far superior to those of a normal human. She also has a secondary magical gift (although not as well practised as the first) which allows her to drain life energy from the area around her and use it for various purposes ranging from creating a light source to weaponizing it (the former being the most used). It's also important to note that she can't drain life-threatening amounts even from the smallest of animals, only small plants such as grass or flowers, and even if she takes some from somewhere else, it costs a some of her own energy. This also means that her attacks aren't very powerful, partly because she's scared of doing irreversible damage to herself, and because she doesn't want to even try to kill some animal by draining it completely, and also because she simply isn't capable of doing so. She can make her attacks more powerful by draining a lot of power, though it takes quite a bit of time. Backgorund: Lily was born April 14th in Ireland, near the east coast in a small town called Curtlestown by which there was a large forest in walking distance. Ever since she was born she always felt different. Somehow... she enjoyed spending time in the nearby forest more so than she did spending time with other kids her age. She'd always ask her parents to go for a walk and have a picnic in the forest just so she could be among those lovely trees. Furthermore, she enjoyed running and exercising; feeling so full of energy that it just had to be spent. The result was that she practised Ju-Jitsu from the age of ten and right up until that fateful day in April 2018 where she left her home and disappeared with only a short warning. She had friends in school, but only a precious few that didn't think she was weird for feeling like she was something she wasn't. She always did her best to laugh it off when she was made fun of, but it didn't always work and she often found herself needing to be comforted by the friends she had. During her years in school, she grew fond of both Gymnastics and Biology, the latter of which she found out later in her school life was a source of valuable knowledge if one wanted a healthy body, and the former simply because it allowed her to spend more of her boundless energy. When she graduated from her third year in the second cycle, having passed the Leaving Certificate Examination, she went on to further study biology and gymnastics, having decided on becoming a teacher to spread her love of exercising, as well as educate children to better take care of their bodies; she was all too conscious of how poorly some people took care of their bodies and wanted to prevent that in the next generation. By the time she was 24 she finally found herself with a graduation certificate in her hand, and a job soon after. Nothing extraordinary had happened in her time when studying to become a teacher, save perhaps for the all-nighters study sessions she had pulled becoming less and less of a problem; almost as if she was meant to be up at night rather than day. She still held those precious few friends near her, contacting them every now and then like they contacted her. For four years she worked as a teacher in both biology and gymnastics in a small school near her hometown, doing her best to teach the children everything she knew about her subjects. And then came the day; April 14th, 2018. She woke up, not as a human, but as a large fox-like creature, although she had not one, but nine tails. She felt... scared, to begin with, then shocked, and finally pleasantly surprised. It was a joy that she was finally what she'd always felt like she somehow was. But even then, she was shocked - shocked to find out that she had the body of a mythological creature. It took her nearly a quarter of an hour, but she finally found out how to revert to her human form, during which time she discovered something else. Not only was she capable of changing from full nine-tailed fox, but she was also able to take on the shape of a human-esque Fox. She kept the large, black, furry ears, the nine white tails, a quadrature of sharp fangs where her canines would be as well as slitted pupils and strikingly blue eyes. Wanting to go exploring her new ability and body, she wanted to call in sick for work but when she reached for the phone only to see its colour change from white to indigo blue. She was, to say the least, confused. Especially since it returned to being white when moved her hand away. For the next several minutes she worked on trying to recreate the same thing, whatever it was, which lead her to discover that not only could she change the colour of things, but she could also conjure orbs of light that seemed like a mix of gas and liquid. She had magic, that much was obvious, but how much? She wanted to find out but realised that doing so in her own house likely wasn't the brightest of ideas - Even in a small town there are prying eyes, and everybody knows everybody. So choosing to not practice her new abilities anymore - for the time being anyway - she picked up the phone and called her work, saying that she would be absent for the day, and possibly the next since she didn't feel very well at the moment. Once that was taken care of, she immediately stepped out the door, locked it behind her and ran off, shifting back into her full fox-like shape as she did, and soon found herself speeding across the ground towards the forest with what could pass for a gleeful smile on her face. The next several days were spent running, training, and practicing, going to work only after the third day, and then using every bit of spare time she had in the woods. She discovered an affinity for illusions as well as manipulation of energy - life energy especially. It wasn’t a pleasant way that she had discovered that particular talent, if one were to be honest. It had happened when she had been holding a flower while practicing the offensive capabilities of her abilities. It had happened quickly, but she did feel some sort of connection to the flower and felt it wither away and die as she ‘drew’ upon it. She attempted to do the same thing again and this time watched it. The small flower whittled away, becoming nothing more than a blackened husk of what it once was. A few weeks passed with no one discovering her secret which, considering the small size of the town she lived in, wasn’t a very strange thing - Or so she thought. Halfway through the fourth week she was approached by a group of black suited men. They were from the United States and asked her if she was willing to join their training program for Shifters in the States. She agreed, but only on the condition that she could tell her parents and tell them of the situation. It took some convincing, but she was finally allowed to do so. The next two years was spent with training, increasing her skills at both illusions and Fox Fire, as she had named her Energy abilities - courtesy of the legends. She became a skilled infiltrator and spy, although she only found herself in the field twice and on tasks that were relatively safe. Her life was pleasant with a few close friends, decent pay and comfortable quarters in a compound specifically made for the Shifters. She had only become more fit in the time since she was recruited, and quit her old job, but it wasn’t to last. One the 25th of April 2020, she awoke leaning up against a tree in a place she had no memory of, with what looked like over a hundred people around her either asleep or waking up themselves. Personality: She's usually kind and energetic, preferring to move around rather than sit still, and a bit mischievous from time to time. She's patient - as is necessary when being a teacher - and does her best to try and understand both sides of an argument before making any judgement or taking any sides. Still, she is restless and often starts to fret if something doesn't go quite her way. If someone she knows is in danger she'll try to help them, but in the instance that she can't she usually resorts to pacing and muttering to herself. She's somewhat used to loneliness, but will still do what she can do get at least some contact with other people. Promises, to her, are extremely important, and if she makes someone a promise she will do her best to keep it, but she also expects people to keep their own promises in turn. Other: Her physical prowess does not change when shapeshifting except for when she takes on the full shape of a Nine-Tailed Fox where she becomes noticeably faster, and she's only as strong as one can expect an animal of that size to be. In her Half-Form her tails hold too little strength to be of much use aside from utility (carrying a towel to her when exiting a shower, for example) and are, as such, useless in combat. They can be used to soften blows aimed at her, if she covers herself, thanks to their thick fur. She is currently training them in an attempt to be able to use them for more than carrying small items. She is very proud of her looks in the Half-Fox form.
