"Oh, then I misunderstood you," Seth said with a shrug, half of his attention focused on the resuming sound of clanging metal and active forge fires. He was a little annoyed that he had not only misunderstood, but practically announced it to everyone in the cabin with his comment. Oh well, at least something good came out of it, especially since Nevea had decided to implement the idea anyway. a voice said from the cabin's doorway. Seth looked to see who it was and felt his jaw drop a small bit when he saw who it was. Dionysus. Last he had seen him, the god had been talking with the would be questers at the Big House."Yes..." Seth said hesitantly. He wondered why he was here. Did the other demigods already blow themselves up with the crystal he gave them or what? No... that wasn't possible considering Morning had cleansed it of the volatile dark magic, but who knew... they probably had found a way to send themselves sky high before they even stepped foot put of camp...Dionysus looked towards Seth and Nevea, obviously implying they were the ones from here meant to go. The god left shortly afterwards and proceeded to tell the same news to Austin and Angelo, and then to Morning and another strange Demigod named Brooke. The god felt this team would have better chances lf succeeding than the former, and the other camp directors shared his sentiments. Naturally, those originally meant to go on the quest for the Fleece weren't particularly pleased, but Dionysus was never one to care about such reactions.
Nevea was quite surprised when Dionysus entered and spoke to them. Interesting, she was to embark on the quest. They would have to finish the defences more quickly now. Then she would go to the Big House. If Dionysus was annoyed at a delay, she had his own words to use in resolution. For now she made sure that the the designers were working right, looking over their designs as they discussed and forming shapes in her mind. Upon the words of Dionysus spoken, the designers began to work faster, so as to finish up the designs before Seth and Nevea would have to leave. The defences needed to be completed before the new questers left, lest the camp be left without an automatic defence or even pseudo-shield. They incorporated the two detectors and implemented moving up and down, and then showed Nevea and Seth what they would have them make. Nevea created the skeleton of the structure as they showed her while the forgers worked double-time changing their structures. As Seth would add his magic and crystals to the construct, they would connect the construct to the new mechanisms and perform the tests; these would not return void. When the tests were finished, they would give Seth and Nevea the thumbs up to go to the Big House as they planned out how many set-ups would be needed and then construct the parts. "I wonder what the other questers did that they failed so, and so quickly," mused Nevea, as they were dismissed. This would be a marvellous opportunity to move up in the views of the campers further, since now she had not only a vital part in the temporary defences of the camp, but would also embark to find the golden fleece and restore the camp's true defences.
