I was thinking what if both worlds were actually combined, how it would change the setting? It might require a brief bit of cooperative world building, but not too much I hope.

For the purposes of this discussion we'll have to make a few rules. For the purposes of this, let's ignore season 8 Buffy monsters, as the whole things starts to get iffy once we get real winged angels and lesser gods (Elohim)

Elders are the Powers that Be. Which is near enough anyway.
Hellgods are beings that were empowered by the Hollow dozens of centuries ago.
There are two types of vampires, those possessed by demonic spirits (Buffy), and Charmed ones. both are at odds with one another. Angelus was not popular the second type and sought to actively waste the bastard, and failed.
The Source and the Underworld is a pocket dimension and sometimes tries to interfere only to find that the PTB's are a little more active, and were those beings that ran away from the Old Ones during the Primordium.
The Old Ones built the Hollows and a few other artefacts to easily empower those worthy.

What other changes or additions would be required so that we can get this going?

I'd just like to say that I'm interested, but I haven't watched either series in, like, forever. By which I mean nearly a decade. They are on Netflix, but I haven't had time to watch them. At any rate, I do know the basics and think this is an interesting concept. If this gets more interest, I promise to put more of an effort in to know enough to help create this world with you.

I've always loved Charmed, but I've never seen Buffy..but I am fairly interested. Would it be Canon or OC characters? I'd quite like to play PJ Halliwell, Phoebe's daughter and I don't know which tier that would come under.

Honestly, I'd say go for original characters at least that way we can develop the world how we want to. Plus if a major character dies it is no hardship and we can explore how things would shape up without them.

Thats fine, but would PJ be considered original? Only because she only appeared as a child in the final episode and a baby in the comics? Might be cool to have connections to the book of shadows?

I 'spose you could be sent back through time as an adult to help gather those required to help participate in the battle to stop the Senior Partners + and something else......

Just out of curiosity, is this set after season 7 of Buffy? Since I'm considering maybe playing a Slayer. ^^;

Oh so this isn'y just set in the world, but at the same time? I don't think it makes that much difference because not that much changed between the charmed ones and the kids taking over.

Weren't the charmed kids much more powerful IIRC? But yeah they're both combined into the same world, and hence why the Elders are the PTB in Angel & Buffy. Titans and the Gods are essentially the same as Hellgods. i hope that doesn't out you off?

Actually, that's not true. Technically Faith was the active Slayer at the time, so only her death would have called another Slayer. Basically the line went Buffy > Kendra > Faith. Buffy's first death meant that she wasn't technically the active Slayer anymore, so um yeah. ^^;

Being a bit nitpicky there though so, um, sorry.

No, the Charmed Ones were the most powerful, the kids weren't as powerful as they were. And alone, PJ is just an ordinary witch, so unless someone else wants to play a charmed kid, it doesn't really make a difference? But its okay, I'll make an ordinary witch.

Pretty much anything is playable, I would not have any objection :)
