If they lose their steeds, who knows how many of these creatures might choose to attack them in their sleep once more the following night. Quickly searching for the lowest point along the bodies they already struck down to climb over, he clumsily shuffled over the them and broke into a sprint through the hut and towards the horses. Before he was even out of the hut, he started banging Honor against his shield in effort to distract and hopefully lure the creatures to him instead. “Hey!” Leifr yelled as he ran out the hut, Honor striking the shield and releasing a dull ring, “Fight me you disgusting beasts! I'll release your soul from your putrid bodies!”
