The three strangers looked around the room. A little girl in a small robe, seemingly colorless, two men wearing masks. One wearing a gas mask, the other wearing a demon mask ".....so since this kishin guy is taking his sweet time, let me just say that I hate both of you." The girl says. The man in the demon mask looks at her "too bad." He says. I walk in and smile "I see everyone's here." I say "let me tell you why you're here." "I'm just here because I have nothing else to do." The girl says. I shake my head and say "lu, you really ought to be taking things seriously. Now you and oni go after the judge." I look at the man in the gas mask "....y'know cecil I keep mistaking you for that one assassin guy." I say "how's the disease capsule?" "Good." Cecil says with a muffled reply "from what I know, chickenpox will work best. I'll launch it now." With that, he walks out of the room "alright lu let's go." Oni says. Grabbing lu's hood and portalling with her. My smile fades as I reach out into my pockets and pull out a grey notebook labeled "erase note" and a vial labeled "chickenpox". I dispose of the vial and read the last page of the notebook with a smile "now to play the waiting game." I chuckle as I tear out the page and portal away the notebook.Oni and lu portaled in and saw the judge "that's the guy eh?" Lu says "we can take him." Oni sighs and mutters "if she gets me killed-" "you'd be dead." Lu interruptsCecil checked again. He was sure he loaded the capsule with chickenpox but it seemed more like......nah. couldn't be. He launches the metal pod and watched as it flew toward the genesis devourer
The Judge looks up, his expression hidden behind the shady glasses. A smile flickers across dead lips, pale skin seeming to shimmer in the fading lights that dance in the sky of this desolate realm. Already, the barriers of this reality were beginning to fade, the horizon filled with images of grand castles and structures sinking into infinite oblivion. The ground, which first was covered in a deep mist, is revealed to be a mere white plane, all power taken from this world. Still, thousands of arcane circles and runes move through the space around the man, an overwehelming life force backing his soul. And visible to any who would call themselves mages, he's surrounded with a powerful arcane aura, his mere presence seeming to cause the air to shimmer as if in heat. The Judge's black wings fold behind his back, his black boots soundless against the immaterial floor. He slowly walks forward, his hands clasped, a faint smile on his lips, as dark magics seem to dance on the rim of his glasses. Long black hair hangs around his head, outlining the paleness of his skin. "More youngsters come to challenge me? It is only natural, that one born into such a world would fight to protect it, ignorant and blissful within it. Have you ever felt the beautiful touch of death, children? Have you ever bathed in the river of souls, and beheld those stranded on the banks of life?" The words are whispered, and yet can be heard clearly. It feels like it would be impossible not to hear them, the man's voice cold and calm. "Very well. Let us see, children, the face you shall show me when you taste the bittersweet embrace of death. It shall be a beautiful sight now as well, as your lives are brought to an end." ---------------------- The massive tentacle doesn't react to the presence of the pod. It flies in through a pore, entering a large chamber within, the walls of which are lined with the odd metallic carapace that is the Genesis Devourer's 'skin'. The pod seems to bounce off of the hardened material, clattering to the floor. Around it, hundreds of 'seeds' can be seen, symbiotically attached to the Genesis Devourer. The steady pulse of the Devourer's heartbeat can be heard, although no veins can be seen in the armored interior. The pore below opens and closes, as if sucking in air from the atmosphere of the small planet it was devouring.
