Ineko stood there leaning against the wall, still, while most students were leaving. He went over a recording of the speech again, skipping from place to place. "WOW, WHO IS THAT GUY." He 'mumbled' long after Ozpin had left. Someone in the moving crowd yelled back, "That's Ozpin, stupid!" "...WHO'S OZPIN?" Ineko thought aloud, hearing a groan in the crowd. He scratched his neck and just pinned him as someone of high stature. Ineko wasn't very well knowledgeable of current events or people. He thought for a moment, as all of the students had been given some free time, he wondered what to do. He referenced his map once more, a holographic map appearing on his Heads Up Display. He spotted a rather inconspicuous building off the immediate campus. If there were no directions, no one would have been able to find it without some serious searching. “Hey, do you mind if I follow you around for the time until lights out? I don’t want to bother you or anything.” It was the guy who he met before. Ineko placed a waypoint on the map and miniaturized it, the map moving into the top left corner of his Heads Up Display. "YEAH SURE, IF THE PLACE WE'RE HEADING TOO IS OFF LIMITS WE WOULD BOTH BE SHAFTED. IT'L BE MORE FUN THAN JUST ONE GUY BEING SHAFTED." Ineko grinned, he stood upright and then walked out. Walking with a purpose towards that strange building. It was about five minutes of quick walking, Ineko made sure that his new buddy was still behind him. The building was mostly covered by large trees and overgrowth. The armored student stopped for a second and scratched his head. The entry way to the building was a large medieval gate like structure. Peering in, he could see sandstone blocks on the floor. He cautiously walked in, and realized that the building was an arena. The ground was made of massive steel panels of varying size. Ineko scraped his boot against the floor, the smooth steel surprisingly offered lots of traction. Looking around further, the elevated seating areas were dusty and overgrown with plants. Ineko looked up at the large opening in the ceiling, he could see trees. Ineko heard rumbling and one of the smaller floor panels submerged itself into the ground, seconds later, another one rose. This time, with a silver robot standing atop it. Ineko narrowed his eyes, he saw happiness in the robot. Meaning it was a simple construct. The silver robot wasn't particularly armor plated, or even bulky, it was rather simple. The robot put its arms up in a fighting stance, and once it did that, Ineko realized what the building was for. He chuckled and smiled. A massive screen above the entrance flickered to life, a giant blue 'I' was on the screen. Ineko got himself into a loose stance, he was never one for stiff stances. The robot charged, throwing a punch once it got in range. Ineko quickly grabbed the wrist of the robot, pulled it towards him, and planted a side kick into the ribs of the robot, causing it to lose its balance. Ineko took advantage of the loss of balance to throw down the robot and put it into a hammerlock. A loud resounding bell being struck filled the arena, Ineko looked up to the screen and the I had turned into an X, with the words MELEE underneath it. Another gap in the floor opened up and another robot rose. This time, painted navy blue with quadrants of red here and there, it wielded a shock-rod and a large riot shield. Ineko let go of the previous robot and turned his attention to the newer opponent. Again, sensing some degree of happiness. It seemed like they hadn't been used as sparring partners for some time. The previous robot stood up and the panel it was standing on sunk into the ground, the silver robot leaving the arena. Ineko tried to get some more information out of the new Sparbot, he heard it say R-10, repeatedly. R-Series Model 10? Ineko thought, he again set himself into a loose stance, a different one this time. R-10 smacked the side of its shield twice with its shockrod, trying to entice an attack. Ineko knew this, a taunt, a tactic used by defensive fighters to lure attackers in. They stood for a second, both opting for defense. After that moment, Ineko suddenly dashed in, deciding that things would stay like this forever unless one of them attacked. R10 rose its shield in preparation for a shield bash to stagger Ineko, but he saw that coming from a mile away. Ineko lunged forwards and smashed into the shield at full force, throwing R10 backwards and Ineko recovering with a roll into a crouch. R10 quickly got up and swung at Ineko's side with its shockrod, which Ineko promptly grabbed. Arcs of electricity traveled up Inekos arm, doing nothing but scorching the paint. Ineko saw the power capacity of his suit surge, just as planned. R10 responded by shield punching at a 45 degree angle. Ineko leaned inwards, dodging the attack. Now he was inside R10's shield. Ineko elbowed R10's knee then grabbed R10's shockrod arm with both hands and threw him to the floor. The next ten minutes were a blur, Ineko had already gone through several robots, hearing the bell of victory each time he defeated one. They were progressively getting more difficult. Smarter, faster, stronger. The sounds of metal on metal echoed throughout the arena, and Ineko had no doubt that people nearby could hear the sounds of battle. Ineko had gone into some sort of fey mood, each fight was purely based on instinct and his skills in hand to hand combat alone. Most Sparbots had weapons, swords, shields, warhammers. He was shaken out of this fey mood when he botched a dodge, too shallow. The Sparbot, a blur, kicked Ineko in the chest, sending him flying 30 meters away and smashing into the walls that separated the arena from the spectator seats. Ineko groaned, "ALRIGHT, I'M DONE. THESE GUNS ARE GONNA OVERHEAT." He shouted. The screen turned off and the Sparbot left the arena, submerging back into the storage area below the arena. Ineko sat upright, breathing heavily from the constant high impact fighting. A very quiet whine was heard from Ineko's suit as it powered back on. Constant high impact fighting with about a hundred kilograms of armor and technology weighing him down. "WHEW" Ineko spoke, wiping the forehead of his helmet with his hand, "ANYONE ELSE WANT TO TAKE A GO?"
