All too soon, or not soon enough, the assembly began and Ozpin took to the stage for his short speech. Tai got the feeling from the mood around that many people were dissatisfied with what he had to say, but he was more considerate. No one said an opening speech had to be long, and there was an elegant simplicity to it. He could have elaborated more if he wanted, but if Tai missed his guess then it was about making the prospective students think, not providing all the answers for them. So he had no problem with it. Well, the ceremony was over, with the announcement that there would be a test tomorrow, but it wasn't something he was going to get overly worked up about. Whatever came was what would come. Instead he turned about and departed, unknowingly passing a silver eyed girl in a red cloak in the process. He went back onto the grounds, wandering some as he looked around, at the dorms, the various campus buildings, and eventually coming to a halt in the gardens where he sat and just watched, occasionally scooping up a bit of dirt to transmutate it into other materials, with varying forms to go with. He had a while, so there was no need to rush.
