A lighthearted laugh escaped Kennedy as her comrades joked. It was going to be a good night for a stake-out. She looked at Dan as he asked about the shopkeep,"Little old man, his name is Oscar. Owns the grocery here up the way." Just as she turned to mess some more with the boys, a man appeared with a gun pointed straight at Leroy. "Everybody freeze!" Kennedy tensed up, the guy coming out of nowhere with guns blazing. She stood perfectly still, letting her eyes gaze back and forth between each of her buddies and the intruder. And then Jefferey did what he does best... he talked. Walking across the room to stand in front of Leroy, all the while schmoozing the cop with his words. Kennedy didn't know whether to be glad or mad at his actions, but it seemed to be working for now. She slowly reached her right hand down, grabbing the Hand Cannon that sat on a shelf under the counter she stood at. She tucked the weapon in the back of her skirt and then moved around the front of the counter. Kennedy took a few steps forward, eyeing the cop. "Look mister, didn't your momma teach you not to go pointing that thing at people?" With a raised eyebrow, she crossed her arms. She hadn't planned on dealing with the cops today, and she certainly didn't feel like tying one up. But, you gotta do what you gotta do... She kept her eyes on the cop, who still hadn't lowered his weapon.
