John screeched to a stop, a couple feet away from the swarm of harpies. He heard his phone buzz but ignored it. The evil bird women were first on his priority list. He jumped out of the car, both swords drawn and slowly walked towards the harpies as he saw Tanya ready her scythe. "Nice job with the harpy bait Tanya," he said, smirking.

"Thanks. But you might want to cover your nose." She said as John neared the rancid bail that hung in the air. It wasn't harmful but it was smelly. She took a few steps forward before running into the eye of the storm. Scythe at arms length she gave it a spin, turning in place and she murmured a blessing. The prayer didn't affect her weapon but it soothed her mind. It wasn't special, as she was sure many knew of it. "Our father who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name. In kingdom come, thy will be done. On Earth as it is in heaven...."

Lin drew his sword from its sheathe and held it over his head although he couldn't help but focus a little on the concoction the girl had made. It smelled awful but it seemed to be working for the time being, at least he only had to smell it for ten minutes "Lets hope five is all we'll need" he said as he slashed at one that lunged at him, as it went down another one came at him, he stabbed it in the gut and brought the blade up cutting the top part of it in half.

Samuel stopped his car when he got close enough to the mass of harpies to walk to it. He stepped out of the car, pulling his sword out with him. He could feel a small hum come from the blade as he drew closer to the harpies, as if it was just excited as he was to be cutting down these birds. He slashed one of the harpies wings off, a black flame began pouring from the wound and started enveloping the rest of its body. "I think five minutes is gonna be plenty."

"Then let's get this over with, shall we?" She said with a smile.

"God Speed." The girl muttered another blessing on her scythe, this one having an actual effect and a passive skill that increased her speed and agility. Tanya began twirling her scythe so fast that she was surrounded by a silver, deadly orb. Any hag that got too close was cut down to size. This technique killed a few but wounded many. Any that were too far for her sphere to reach or were still alive were left up to Samuel, Lin and John.

Meanwhile In the basement of his House Sat Umbra. Tinkering with his Flintlock pistol. He pulled back the mechanism he heard a faint reassuring Click He fired down the range keeping steady. The recoil Was immense But so was the explosion. Umbra was flung back. Deafened by the blast He got up and looked at the mannequin Nothing but ligaments and ash's. Umbra shook his head. and started to head upstairs Deaf to the fight with the harpies outside He went to bed. and tried to sleep off the deafness

(Sorry for rushing but I was getting really annoyed with these harpies -.-)
Samuel slashed through another harpy and turned around and struck down another. The blade began to hum louder as he cut down more and more of the hags. The blade's caused them all to be enveloped in black flames. He cut down the harpies with a grin, enjoying every second of the fighting. Normally he would share the love with his siblings and let them take a few if the kills but he was to caught up in the rush. Every harpy that foolish enough to come near him he cut in to pieces until finally they were all burning husks on the ground. The blade's humming slowed down. Sam sheathed the blade as he admired his handiwork. "Well I think that turned out alright!"

Tanya nodded in agreement. "I need a hot shower. Actually, we could all use one." She said as she walked by Samuel, sniffing his general area then gave a joking grin. She stopped at her bike and returned her sniper rifle and scythe to their place on either side of her cycle. Standing and stretching, she looked at her friends. "Let's go home boys. I'm sure everyone's been missing us."

"Jeez, Sam" Lin said as he swung the blade over his head and then in one direction shaking the blood off, then he took the sword flipped it around and drew it on the sheathe and re sheathed it. "At least It's over with" He said. He let out a big yawn and started heading back to his bike

Sam shrugged at Lin. "What can I say? I take pride in my work. He pouted at Tanya. "That was so uncalled for." He looked before giving himself a sniff. He really did stink, whatever Tanya put in that bait must of been something really strong. It was all over his clothes and everything. "Great now I have to wash these too." His night had just went from long, to fun, and was now spiraling back to long. "Great..." He muttered as he walked back to his car.

Gwen sat in her room, anxiously awaiting for Mathias to come home, no doubt he was going to be mad with her, or give her a lecture, but she that didn't matter, she had finally proved to herself and to Mathias, that she wasn't meant to be a slayer. She sputtered and coughed some more, before lying down on the pillow to try and get some well needed rest.

Michelle eventually, after a long look, found the front door and smirked slightly. She rang the door bell and started picking out leaves and twigs from her hair. Her aunt opened the door with an angry glare, her hands on her hips. Michelle grinned sheepishly. "Is this the Donovan residence?" Michelle asked. Becky's eyebrows furrowed in a confused expression. "No..." Michelle smirked. "Oh! Then I'll be on my way! Thanks!" Before Becky could react, Michelle turned and jogged away, not going anywhere in specific. Becky groaned. "Not again! Michelle! Come back here!" Michelle giggled softly as she jogged on the bike lane. She was slow, but her aunt couldn't possibly run in heels, right? Wrong. Her aunt was running full-blown at her. Michelle's eyes widened and she tried to run faster, but Becky grabbed her shirt and stopped her. "You never learn do you! I wore heels to my cross country meet! Don't mess with me!" Becky started dragging Michelle by her shirt, Michelle smiling slightly. "Oh, come on Aunt Becky! It was just a bit of fun!" Becky was about to reply, but she stopped herself and sighed. "Yeah, but not in the middle of the night okay?" Her voice sounded very soft and concerned. Michelle, not wanting to hurt her feelings, just said "sure." Instead of 'hey, what happened to your shrilly voice?'.

Tanya gave a light hearted laugh. Fighting the hags was just what she needed to relax. She hopped on her bike and waved to the boys. "See ya at home." She said and then she was gone. It was still late when she got there and so she made her way to her room and peeled off her sweaty, stinky clothes and took a long hot shower. She walked out and changed into her pajamas. before going downstairs into the kitchen to find something to eat.

When they got home, they'd see James, who had been gone for the last three days on a hunt that he refused to let them know about, just relaxing on the couch.

Lin got on his bike headed home a little behind Tanya. He didn't mind doing jobs late at night as long as he didn't have to get up after he went to sleep to go do one. He arrived home just shortly after Tanya and saw she was already in her pajamas "I'm going back to bed" he said as he let out a yawn. He went upstairs got out of his clothes and put on his pajamas which consisted of long baggy sweatpants and an shirt with a mouse skull and crossbones on it, got in his bed and went back to sleep.

Jeffery was woken up by the sound of his siblings returning from the hunt, "hey, some of us with concussions are trying to sleep!" He yelled through the house making his head pound even more. "I'm just going to watch TV," he says as he heads down the stairs and then sits on the couch beside James. "Hey, haven't seen you in a while," he said still clutching his head.

James said, "Yeah...There was a group of fallen angels attacking a town a few states away, and since my specialty is angels and demons, I decided to go and not bother the others." He yawned. "Having a blade that was created for one of the Demon Lords really comes in handy when fighting against angels."

Samuel pulled his car into the driveway after Lin. While he enjoyed the thrill of the hunt even he got tired. He stepped out of the car carrying his guitar case which also functioned as his weapons case. From out of the corner of his eye he spotted a woman dragging along some girl. He didn't recognize them from around the neighborhood, but he did see moving trucks outside the house next door awhile ago, perhaps they were the new neighbors? He decided to be polite and waved at them before heading inside. He laid his case by the door and saw Jeff and James on the couch. He hadn't seen James in days but he was more shocked by the bandages on Jeff's head. "The hell happened to you?"

"I probably should have told you. I was on my way out to go the harpy hunt, but in my rush I fell and hit my head straight on the floor. I started to loose blood kind of fast, so I went to the hospital and I had a slight concussion," Jeffery explained the events of his accident. "On the bright side," he said as he pulled out a slip of paper, "I'm excused from PE tomorrow at school."

Becky's eyes went to the boy and she tried not to stiffen. Michelle, on the other hand, waved softly. They soon got to the house and Becky opened the door, still dragging her neice. Michelle sighed and said "why do I have to sleep downstairs if there's a bedroom upstairs?" Becky looked down at her and said "because we're redecorating your room. When I got here, the whole room was pink a-" Michelle interupted "that's all I needed to hear." She hated pink with a passion. She took a step toward the hall and said "I'm just gonna go take a shower and then go to bed. Night!" Becky smiled softly. She really did love Michelle. "Okay, sweetie. Goodnight! Remember, you've got school in the morning!" Michelle groaned as she walked. She quickly took a shower (didn't want to go into detail on this one) and went back to the bedroom. She looked at the open window and smiled. The redhead walked over to it and shut it with a small click. Then she fell onto the bed and went into a light sleep.
