"Why am I the one being blamed?! It's not like I knew there'd be a crazy punishment game right afterwards or anything! I'm pretty sure I said they probably went home too..." For reasons beyond his comprehension, Prospero was now dangling upside down and trying not to get his cape tangled up in his face. It probably would have been better to release the clasp on it, but he'd already suffered the indignity of losing his hat to this exercise and he wasn't about to give in so easily. Luckily being suspended for extended periods had been standard practice for several different tricks and acts growing up, or he'd have fainted almost immediately. As things stood now the most pain he'd had was to his ego although he had a distinct feeling that his face was turning slightly red behind today's half-mask in a way that had nothing to do with his the lack of justice in this punishment.

"Shouldn't I be rewarded instead of punished since I hid the audience so well?" He already knew the protest was pointless and sighed in resignation halfway through it, but at least he made the effort. The delirious Japanese boy did have a point that this was probably child abuse, but that probably wouldn't make any difference. He decided to make the best of things and take a different tactic for the time being.

"Hoy, Sonya Dmitriev! Does me getting punished with the rest at least mean you're ready to accept me as Naoto's Mist Guardian yet?"
