The Demon and the Viking --- Thora tried very hard to remain cordial and polite to the lost number, but she was finding it increasingly hard when he just…kept…talking. “Has anyone ever told you that you talk a lot? You talk a lot. Like, Brother Bjorn talks a bunch, but he doesn’t try and put so much…well…” she shakes her hands dramatically to show Angel’s flair for the dramatic. “Not that there is anything wrong with that, of course…but you don’t need to overcomplicate stuff so much: Not with me, anyway.” She drew the sword at her hip, Sleipnir, and offered the lost number a smile. “I’ll just kick the butt of whatever I need to. I’ll hunt down what I gotta hunt down. Be that Alchemist, ARMO or any other dumbasses. I’ll trust who I think is worth trusting: at the moment that is you and my brother. ‘sthat fair by you?” She swayed her sword through the air at a frightful speed, working the muscles of her arm into the familiar, warmed up groove again. Hearing the loud sound of the Chrono’s shout: Thora’s smile shifted into a shocked grimace. “Oh god, she’s an idiot.” Thora suddenly turned away from the Lost Number and started to sprint in the direction of the voice. She had figured a few things out already: most importantly that the bad guys must be close. That big shout? That would be the new target for every bad guy: and the Chrono was each Asylum’s chance for circumventing the wrath of A.R.M.O. “Shit.” --- Barnabus and the Bear --- Bjorn had to admit that he was surprised by the way in which his new found ‘ally’ was taking the fact he’d been stuck with an individual that, until a few hours ago, would have happily killed him. The man didn’t give off the impressions of an idiot. Did he actually trust Bjorn, or was there something more? “I am aware of you and your sister. Your files were reasonably extensive.” He paused, grimacing at the fact that he was once again bringing up the less-than-comfortable memory that he was an assassin, not long ago. “Your arsenal is extensive, assuming the Four Kings are going to send heavy amounts of alchemist opponents. My main tools are a shield and a maul, more often than not as catalysts for my alchemy, but they are functional, to say the least.” Unlike Barnabus, Bjorn was in no rush to reveal any more about either his sister or his own abilities. Perhaps it was just a healthy distrust, but he had no desire to share information carelessly.
