Bestiary:
In the time of the ancients when man was young and demons ruled the earth God called down his forces to rid the world of these evils. As the last of the ancients was driven from this plane of existence he fed on a human mixing his blood with there's. This was the birth of the first Vampire. Vampires are immortal, from the moment they rise from the ground they will never age. With this immortality comes many gifts, they are granted endurance, great strength, speed. They have heightened senses and advanced healing. All these things however come at a cost. From the moment a Vampire rises from the grave they will never again see sunlight and live. The touch of the rays burns there skin to ash. The name of god in any language chokes them and the touch of the crucifix melts there skin. There heart doesn't beat and as such they do not need to breath though fresh Vampire may as a reflex. There are several ways to kill a vampire. The most famous is plunging a stake into ones heart, beheading is quite effective as well as draining them completely of blood. Vampires must drink blood to maintain the gifts that being a Child of the Night brings. Without blood a Vampire will not die, not for a very long time but he will waste away slowly. First his strength and speed will leave him, then his mind. if left too long in this state he will go mad, turning into a mindless agent of destruction from which no amount of blood will bring him back. Human blood is a Vampires first choice, but any form will do, deer, dog, cat, bird. Human, however, is the most effective in replenishing strength. The difference between animal and human being similar to that of decaf and regular coffee. Warlock blood can have strange effects on Vampires and is considered a taboo in there society. In order to be turned into a Vampire a human must be drained of blood and then drink the blood of a Vampire. They will fall into a state almost like death, just barely alive unable to cross to the next world. They must be buried in the ground, preferable in a cemetery. In the dark they will have to claw there way out of the ground with only there fingers. Any Vampire unable to do so is left in the ground, alive and starving, considered too weak to be accepted by his kin. When he rises he will be filled with an insatiable hunger that only blood can fill. In this state he would devour anyone, even his best friend if it meant blood. A Darkling is a human who has tasted Vampire blood without being drained of his own. He will gain mild forms of Vampirism. A slight aversion to sunlight, a liking for raw meat, an inability to touch a cross or say the name of god. These effects will wear off in time as the Vampire blood makes it's way out of his system but a Darkling will feel drawn back to the Vampire whose blood he tasted. Not many are strong enough to resist the pull long enough to avoid being made into a full Vampire.

Lycanthropes are children of the Moon. There Origins date back to the ancients times very close to the creation of Vampires. The demon whose blood was used to make Werewolves was a bitter enemy of the first Vampire's sire. As such the hatred between these two races is literally in there blood.

Warlocks are part Demon part Human.

The Fair Folk some of the oldest magical creatures in existence. There origins tell that they were born of both angels and demons. They possess the beauty, grace and nobility of angels while harboring the malevolence and cruelty of demons. They are unable to lie or break a promise. They might, however, tell what they believe is true, even if it is not. They may also expertly weave lies into sentences by not telling the whole truth, letting others assume things, or not correcting the people with whom they're speaking; this does not, however, apply to half-fey, who can lie as easily as any other being

Nightmares are often classified as demons though this is not accurate.

Demon is a large category that applies to many different creatures with many different origins. The one thing all demons have in common however is there love of destruction and lack a soul. Religiously, they are defined as Hell's denizens and the servants of Satan, though this is not always accurate as Demons can come from many places and serve many masters. The most famous and well known Demons are those created by Lucifer and the Fallen angels after they were cast out of Heaven however these are only one facade of all that demons are. Demons come in a large variety of species and forms, their numbers said to be infinite.

Other than the fact that they were created by God, their early history remains unknown. It is known that they are old, possibly older than the Earth itself. Much has been done in their name, both good and evil, even though the number of confirmed manifestations of angels on Earth in its Four and a half Billion years is less then fifty. Among all the denizens of Earth, little is known about angels and much is conjectured; few who might speak knowledgeably live to do so. The general consensus is that the physical forms of angels are shaped like humans, but are much larger, winged, and glow with heavenly fire; however, many authors have suggested that when angels do manifest on Earth, they take whatever shape witnesses will recognize as angelic. As immortal beings of pure spirit, angels must take on a corporeal form to exist on Earth. They possess superhuman strength, sufficient to hurl whole hoards of demons into outer space from the surface of the Earth. Supposedly, angels possess the ability to alter reality as perceived by humans. As ancient beings they concern themselves very little with the goings on of humans. They are on the whole deeply indifferent to the travails of the mortal realm. They are not merely messengers or guardians, they are the soldiers of God's army and emissaries of his wrath and vengeance. They are not patient or tolerant of human frivolities.
