Here's a character sheet for Gunnery Sergeant Thaddeus Shull.
Age: 52
Appearance:
Gender: Male
Family: Wife: Vicky White (Divorced)
Personality: Gunnery Sergeant Shull is a particularly gruff, tough-as-nails individual. This can be partly attributed to his 30 years as a grunt in the Marine Corps Infantry. He is sharp, intelligent, and possesses an unbreakable resolve. His philosophy is "If I can break it, I can win." Despite the disorder and chaos that follows the Zombie Apocalypse, Gunny Shull doesn't really mind it. It gives him an opportunity to kill stuff.
Bio: After his first wife left him in 1984 due to his alcoholic tendencies, Thaddeus joined the Marine Corps in order to start a new life and be a part of something greater than himself. After six years of dedicated service to the Corps...and a few formal reprimands along the way...He reached the rank of Sergeant January 1st, 1991 and was a squad leader during Operation Desert Storm of the Gulf War. Ten years later, he was sent to Afghanistan after the Trade Towers were destroyed in a terrorist attack. In Afghanistan he was a platoon sergeant, and led several missions to capture or destroy Al Qaeda munitions and personnel. A few years later, he was in Iraq and ended up serving three tours there until he was assigned as a platoon sergeant to Alpha Company, first platoon at Camp Pendleton in the summer of 2008. Since then he has had opportunities to move up the ranks and take a position like First Sergeant or even Sergeant Major, but his drinking and his love of confrontation has always prevented him from future success in the Marines. He has always been fine with that though, he has always despised the politics that go with being a higher rank. His second wife, Vicky, left him a few months prior to the outbreak.
Job Before The Outbreak: Marine/Platoon Sergeant.
Disability/Fear: Gunny Shull is an excessive drinker and smoker. Over the years it has slowed his reaction time and gotten him into trouble in the Marine Corps. Shull is also very judgmental at times and it is hard for him to accept newcomers. It is very hard to earn his trust, and because of this he is often the lone wolf in a group and doesn't like to follow. Part of this is because he is so used to training and leading hardened Marines, not to taking orders by people younger than him or with less military experience.
Weapon of Choice: M-4 Carbine, M1911 Pearl Handle .45, combat knife
