I'm not too worried about 100% accuracy. I'm from the UK too, never been to the US in my life, have no idea what New Orleans looks like. We're using it as a base, but I'll be adding my own narrative elements to the story too, so things like disused warehouses, shops, cafés, etc could all appear anywhere at any time when they're needed. I'm not going to stick to New Orleans geography that closely, beyond the obvious facts that it's near the ocean, has a big-ass lake next to it, and is surrounded by the 'bayou' marshland.
