What if Lacey was a Chinese orphan who was [i]suppose[/i] to be a Red Assassin, but she was adopted by an American man. The Red Assassins later kill this man, so Lacey goes bats*** crazy, kills the Grandmaster, steals the Red Laces, and is out to f*** s**** up. Maybe she has a sister that is in the Red Assassins and is on a relentless quest to 'rescue' her from that life. She doesn't care about anyone else, and doesn't care who lives or dies.

Anyone can take up the mantle of Red Lace if they acquire the Red Laces.
