Where as he went to school and had a relatively peaceful life, Jeanne had protected her own nation at a age younger than he had became mixed with the world of the Flame Haze. After all, he, like Shana, was contracted to one of the most powerful of the Crimson Lords, and as such, would use this power to protect Shana, no matter the cause.

Margery Daw figured she might as well explain how the ability worked first to this "Iskander" individual. After all, he did not seem to hold hostilities towards her own faction at this time.
