He listened to the mountain of a man speak, his voice sounded like gravel, smooth and hard, like the years had eroded it away. He said he could teach him and asked if he could handle the dedication required. Of course I can, I've lived off my hard work for years, it's a second nature. Besides, these guys are depending on me He thought while Cassandra spoke. I can't let them down. Not again. He continued listening to the female twin speak, and was impressed. A doctor, huh? She does seem like the goodie goodie type. It fits that she's smart, and caring. The role fit Cassandra, or at least Ren thought so. It must have been why she chosen the mesiter of doctor. Following Cassandras response Ren spoke as well,"I'll do anything you say, as long as it will make me better. Provided it doesn't put my friends in danger of course, but I doubt you'd do that." He flashed a smile at Cassandra. He saw that she looked uneasy, and caught a glance at her sword. He directed his gaze towards Simon again, his demeanor intensified,"Professor, I'm going to be frank with you. I don't just want to be as strong as I can, I need to. All of my teammates are strong, so strong I seem like an ant. I need to be able to help them if they need me, I need to be able to save them from fighting if they don't have to. I need to be able to take on their burdens, and share them so they don't have to take the full load. I want to support them, Professor. I'll do anything. Just name it."
