no ones asked this, but is DC and Marvel comics suppose to exist in the world of this rp? I have seen a couple of characters reference them but I wasn't sure if that was a part of the rp's world.

Yeah, Im pretty sure they do. That's what part of Zenith's backstory was, that he loved Superman comics SOOOOO INTENSELY that once the Awakening happened, he became Superman-Lite.

Reminds me of Bagon, Salamence's "baby" form. Bagon's desire to fly was so intense that it actually triggered a mutation to eventually evolve itself into a Salamence, a badass dragon pokemon that can obviously fly.

That's pretty much right. The other half of it is that Superman and other comic-book Archetypes are so heavily engrained in the public conscious that when the Awakening happened a bunch of people gained powers emulating classic heroes. Others became supernatural in nature because of personal mythological interests. So yes a bunch of vampire wannabes actually did turn vamp :P Many are still pretty lame.

Also my upcoming post is gonna give Krein something to comment on and develop the slaughter house but I decided to roll out the big guns mid-morning tomorrow just to give everyone a little bit more time to get settled.

Nah you're spot on, that's exactly what happened in Zenith's story. I've always thought about something similar to that happening. If something like that happened in this world I think I'd end up having either the powers of a symbiote or the powers Abaddon has. The latter would be similar to symbiosis though, except with obvious dark magic and Silent Hill-esque powers. Afterall, Abaddon did "evolve" from a symbiote character of mine, which was his first incarnation.

Did any of y'alls characters have first incarnations or anything? Or have they remained the same since their creation?

Fine by me. You have no idea how many fricking times I've written the word "slaughterhouse" in my attempts to post something. Since everyone is basically posting a novel page worth of stuff, I felt I had a lot to write and a lot to keep interesting, but I just couldn't do it with having Abaddon just sneak around and wait for stuff to happen.

Nope. Brand spanking new. I had initially considered bringing in an original character design that I had done as a commission (cause my art skills aren't nearly good enough to show people), but as it turned out, I was left unsatisfied with the result, so I went and made Agnes (and to a degree, Pakstas) instead. Oh well.

Does this mean we got actual Twilight vampires in the world? Oh god.

And yes actually! Emmanuel has gone through HUGE changes since his creation. His name was originally Maxwell, yes the 10 foot tall paladin. Maxwell's first form was a wandering priest type that fought using lightning manipulation and a bunch of portable, throwable lightning rods. He went through a whole metamorphosis into the giant paladin he is now, but I still really wanted the lightning guy around. So I renamed him Emmanuel, because all the characters related to Samuel have a particular naming convention, and I based his fighting style on Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star. So one character became two, pretty much.
