Taking effect! While one gets knocked out, Another gets a key. Seems like a fair trade.~ A small collab between Gerontis, Mr Nim and Little Alice. Summary : Deidara and Midori still struggle against the poison. While Asami has been called to meet with the Raikage, she won't let this chance slip by.
Gyuki was more and more getting annoyed with the whole deal of dragging Deidara. He was being a burden and annoying. If Midori didn't want to listen, then he would force her. Cause he was already feeling how the clone he was controlling to grow weaker with each passing second. The same counted for Midori. The whole body was starting to suffer under the effects of the poison. With a quick shove, the ink clone would push Midori away from Deidara. Not paying attention to the boy, Gyuki would grab Midori's wrist. Not in a friendly fashion, but there was no time for that. Supporting her, Gyuki would send her a telepathic message. ''Listen up. I told you, he is dead weight. Leave him, he will not die.'' Though Gyuki had something else he would love to add to his message, he kept it for himself. Midori tried at first to resist, cause she didn't want to leave Deidara behind. What kind of friend would leave their friends behind? But we made a pact! You wouldn't hurt my- Gyuki suddenly interupted her, with a friendly tone in his deep voice. Did I hurt him? I simply shoved you and not him. The pact was about your friends, but it never entitled you. This surprised Midori as she thought that Gyuki actually liked her. Dragging Midori out of the pesky mist, that was more of a nuisance than helpful in Gyuki's opinion, he would seek for an alley. Somewhere to hide and try to find a proper solution for the situation they were in now. Watching as Midori's clone pushed her out of the way, Deidara wondered what was going on as the two seemingly just stared at each other for a moment before the clone dragged Midori out of the mist and moved away from his sight. Sighing, he realised that as long as the clone was controlled by the Hachibi, he is not going to get a chance to stay close to his teammate. He then gave a glance at the other direction, wondering how Renya was doing, before rubbing his eyes. Even with the mist, his eye sight was getting more blurred and he moved to lean against a wall to stable himself. Shaking his head a bit, he used the wall to straighten himself and then begun walking in the direction his clone and Renya headed. Only a couple of moments later he collapsed on the ground, unconcious due to foolishly using his clone jutsu and mist jutsu without thinking about his chakra reserves. The mist around him faded away, and he was left on the ground, breathing heavily but not responding to anything around him. Typical. That was how Asami's shadow clone thought about it. Looking down on the mist, as she figured already it was Deidara's, the clone would just stay put. Another was waiting. And both were looking like ANBU, due the transformation technique. Deidara had given a perfect reason why two ANBU nearby would take a look. A slight twisted smile crept on the lips the young woman. Getting up, she looked down as the mist started to fade away. That and the precious key was now out of it. Not that she thought that Deidara's mist would be harmful to her. But it would work better this way. The shadow clone that had been looking down on the scene, on top of rooftop, dropped to the street level as she would act like she would check out on Deidara. In truth, it was just an act. The other clone was waiting to spring the trap on Midori and her clone. The fact that the ink clone was able to resist the poison longer, as she was supporting the real Midori now, made it clear. There was no doubt or this was the Eight Tailed Beast in control. For Asami this was very interesting. With the knowledge she had, she never would have thought that this was possible. But after some moments, she could think of how it was actually possible. Which was good for her research. Soon.~ The clone thought, still waiting to take them both with her. An alley, finally. Continue to drag Midori to it, Gyuki wasn't sure how long the clone would hold. Not that there was something wrong with the chakra reserve, but it was just that it was becoming more and more. Panting, the ink clone would collapse. Gyuki cursed as he felt how Midori was also slipping away. He was trying to pour more chakra into the body of the girl, but he couldn't make a clone. Unless he would try to take over Midori. But with her current condition? It would only make things worse. This is bad. He thought to himself, trying to figure a way out of this mess. ''Adorable.~'' The ANBU that had spoken stood at the entrance of the alley. With the light at her back, it was a bit hard to look up to the masked person. Her hands on her hips, the disguised clone of Asami walked towards Midori that was slowly suffering under the effects of the poison. Kneeling near the girl, the ANBU would remove her mask. Revealing a sly grin from Asami. ''Heeeeey there. Missed me?'' Asami said. Then without any signal or warning, Asami's right hand was formed into a fist and slammed against the girls head. Not just because of out of pure sadism, but to make sure Midori wouldn't make any trouble. Besides, Michi had reported Asami on how Midori and Deidara had talked about her. She wouldn't likely find this treatment a big surprise. Picking up the body, the clone had already shoved the mask back in place. It was now time to make sure she had her precious ''key'' safe and hidden away. After hearing that the Three Tails was kidnapped, Asami didn't want to risk losing Midori was well. That would be a pain for her research.
