Born into a family full of boys, Anaella couldn't help but grow up a bit tomboyish. Before she was born, her family had consisted of her mother, father and three rowdy boys. Her mother longed for a girl and when she finally got one, she was not able to be there. Anaella grew up with swords and weapons instead of dolls and dresses. She learned fighting and weaponry instead of sewing and etiquette classes. Growing up, if she hadn't developed breasts and had her feminine face and physique, people would've often mistaken her as one of her brothers. She was usually seen wearing leather pants, boots and a tunic. That is until her father announced her marriage. He changed her classes to ones 'fit for a Great Duke's daughter', changed her clothing and barely let her train with her brothers! She was sure she was doing this on purpose. Anaella was never blamed by her brothers for her mother dying while birthing her. Though with her father it was a different situation. When she was younger it was easier, but as she grew, she looked more and more like her mother. Her father would take any opportunity to send her away, and he did when he arranged her marriage.
