Since everyone is mostly stuck, I propose an idea.

How about we redo it? Solidify an opening plot that doesn't immediately jump into the main plot, a side plot (before they got powers and were just a team?) How they met, how they got the ship, yada yada. Those are alot of potential livening plots before the action even starts, but that's just an idea.
