I never understand why Aeon is off-limits in almost every Persona RP I've seen. World and Universe aren't allowed for obvious reasons, but I just never could grasp why Aeon wasn't allowed. Marie was... a bit different from a regular slink, but Aegis' Aeon was no different from any other social link, except that her Persona wasn't actually of the Aeon arcana. Aeon-arcana personas DO exist, but I guess no regular Persona-user has ever had one. (Unless I didn't notice something from P2/P1, but those are different) Maybe they're just Wild Card exclusive? I dunno. I'm just rambling now.

Oh, but I'll keep an eye on this and see where it goes before I say I'm 100% on-board.
