Personality : Melody is a fun loving young woman who always wears a smile and is exceedingly polite.. 
An air of mystery seems to follow her even in the Wizarding world because as much as she enjoys talking she says very little about herself. This air of mystery is compounded by her mode of dress and life style which seems in a state of constant flux; one day she is dressed as if she had stepped from the pages of history and the next she sports the most provocative muggle fashion of the day.
As polite as she is Melody is often mistaken as a soft pacifist till a foe crosses her path and discovers her predatory side.
Melody is a very sensual young woman who when attracted to someone doesn't wait for them but makes the first move herself.
Openly Bi she is unapologetic about it but not confrontational.
She is as well a practicing Pagan Priestess who meets with a coven of other witches and wizards in old Salem town.
Bio : Melody was born into the pureblood family the Hawkmoon her father Thor Dodson a visiting Priest from Iceland and her mother Fate Hawkmoon.
The Hawkmoon family is a large matriarchal clan that is spread over New England and Eastern Canada.
Not much is known about Mel's early life before she attended Salem Academy or what transpired after she graduated.
While she attended school Mel was known as a true wildchild and is in fact a known animagi who's alternate form is a red tailed hawk.

Artificer, few if an her age are Melody's equal when it comes to creating artifacts 
Charms, a necessary ability when you're making magical devices
Alchemy, another needed skill in the creation of artifacts
Research, she is well versed in many obscure tomes and how to really search any library
