Kyoko blinked at the older man as he explained in an irritated fashion. She realized very quickly how in the wrong she was and her expression changed to apologetic. The fires of her passion put out. "Ah... Oh, I'm really sorry. It was hard to tell what was going on where I was. I thought she was in trouble in a different way." She bowed respectfully. "I didn't mean to interfere in family issues." She felt completely embarrassed. She had the best intentions, but the result was not nearly what she was hoping for. "Please excuse me." She moved to step away, but she noticed that the punks nearby had started to actually attack Mayumi and the cat boy. She was going to move to help when police sirens went off. Apparently someone had called the police. She was certain that the punks would disperse quickly to avoid getting into trouble. Shortly after though, the white haired girl she had been speaking with earlier raised her hand and the Spacequake alarm system went off. She turned back towards the family and called out. "Get your niece and yourself to shelter quickly." Kyoko knew she wasn't equipped to deal with the Spirit right now and rushed to the AST barracks to get geared up. She had to report to her superiors as well about the white haired girl that she now knew to be a Spirit. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Whisker leaped off of Suichi's shoulders as the first guy attacked and leaped into his face a flurry of claws and hisses. I would have been funny except Suichi then had to deal with another punk. He hated this. He couldn't run away. There was a Spirit nearby that needed help. The ball that had knocked out the leader had only escalated the problem. He couldn't leave Mayumi to deal with these jerks alone, although it was obvious now that they had support from a couple others. Either way, Suichi was pushed into a corner and he hated it. He lashed out at the boy attacking him with a fast jab of his own stunning the kid. "Damnit, Kasumi! We didn't even start this crap! You don't even pay us!" This was why he hated being pushed into a corner. His filter stopped and his thoughts would just explode out of him. This wouldn't stop until he had calmed down enough, which in this situation wouldn't be for a while. The situation wasn't helped much by the fact that police sirens went off. He tried to collect himself then, as he figured the kids would run away. Then the Spacequake alarms went off and he knew the kids would run, but that also meant that a Spirit was coming. Then he looked over as a white haired girl began a transformation and realized that the Spirit was already here. Her expression was that of someone intending to exact serious harm. From what little he knew of Spirits, most of them didn't actually understand human society. This meant that drastic actions might be taken out of confusion or fear. He had to calm her down. Still in his pushed-in-a-corner mode he stepped in between her and the group of punks which he figured would be bolting for safety by now. He remembered that she had tried to warn the boys with her earlier "you all shall be judged" statement. At first he had thought it to be odd, but now he realized its true intention. Normally, his first words to someone new would be jumbled up and messy, but thanks to his adrenaline his thoughts were processing to words pretty well. "Thank you for your help, but can you calm down now? I would like to help you in exchange." He wore a smile, but a part of him was worried. "I can help you learn about humans. I bet you don't really understand us, right?" He extended his hand towards her. "If you want I can help you learn. Without having to hurt anyone."
