Race Description: Orcs are known for their reputation as excellent fighters on a battlefield with heavy weapons. Because of their close biological features to that of dwarves, they have earned the 'rock' gnome subrace name. In the distant past, they used to be adept magicians but over the years their aptitude for magic has decreased, leading to the rock gnomish race as a whole to doubt in the power of the arcane. They roughly have the same proportions as the typical human adult and live up to 150 years on average. Halflings have dark hair and eyes, regardless of their skin complexion which, commonly ruddy in hue, ranges from that of human's. As the halflings are a nomadic race they don't really have a 'real' homeland or a culture of which they could call their own. Those of the Halflings who do not wander tend to end up living in areas that are highly populated by the human race. By nature they are joyful and friendly with their dealings with others, they also take pleasure in simply things with few aspiring to greatness in the same manner as humans. Although Halflings do not have the ambition for adventure that some races do, most prefer trouble to boredom; the race is dangerously curious and courageous. Their daring is often hard to match. Personality: Nemita's personality is that of most Halflings, joyful and friendly as well as curious and daring. She is an enthusiastic collector, and loves to hold on to possessions won through skill and daring. One could also she is more adventurous than her other halflings, taking on adventures when they are presented to her. History: Nemita grew up traveling around a lot and not really taking to one place, as was common among the halfling families. Her family would follow their race where ever they went, stopping in various cities for undefined amounts of time. At the age of twenty Nemita's family thought it was time to settle down for a bit before wandering to another location, however she didn't feel the same. Nemita decided she would continue to wander with the other halfings who didn't stop either. Understanding that its in their race to wander Nemita's father given her a dagger he had found during his seemingly endless years of collecting. With this dagger she would continue to wander with the others finding new sights to see as well as new adventures to be had due to their curiosity. Eventually splitting from her other halflings she found herself facing more dangers and problems; she was too curious for her own good. Although these dangers were dire at the time, they were not without some form of reward, she had found treasures from weapons to the odd looking trinkets. This is relatively easy to learn if one is well in-tune with one's emotions. Dark Magic - This is a forbidden type of ultra-strong magic that involves living sacrifice and is quite taboo. Warm Magic - This is the school that teaches healing magic, prophetic magic, and other sorts of holy magics. Changing Magic - A magic that is most easy for adaptable magi to learn, this involves changing form. Some magi can change into any form, some into a few, and some into only one. Evocation Magic - This school focuses on the creation of new things, like bending energy to create arrows for battle. This can be a second step of the elemental magi's education to further their skill, as the two are very much related. Charm Magic - A magic that involves changing the perception of others around oneself, this school focuses on illusion magic, seduction magic, and other such things that involve altering perception. Psionic Magic - This school involves changing the form of magical energies around oneself. If you want to use them in a later generation feel free but not every generation unless they play a major role in the Order. * Be courteous to the other roleplayers. * When I originally brought Legend to RPG I had it in the casual section, in order to keep the roleplay moving at a manageable pace that will keep people interested I ask that you try and post between 1 and 2 paragraphs as much as you can.
