(I'm just going to call the leader Michael)

His pulse wasn't there Justin was gone, "I'm sorry the son of the moon fought bravely tonight. We'll give him a proper burial, for what he has done here tonight with taking Dracula out he has ensured that others could lives for years to come." Michael knelt down next to Natalie, closing Justin's eyes. "He will be remembered by us for years to come, his sacrifice won't be in vain the son of the moon is finally at peace."

Natalie sat there the tears flowing down her cheeks unable to move but for a tiny barely seen nod of understanding. Although she couldn't really understand. She didn't want to, but she got up dusting herself off. She clears her throat five times before saying with a squeak, "Thank you. Your kindness is appreciated." She said her eyes red rimmed from the tears. She clears her throat again. "Excuse me. I...have to go home...tell the kids..." She says staring at nothing and starting her trek home on foot. She felt close to being numb. So walking would do her a whole world of good. She couldn't stay there any longer. It would do her more harm if she did. But every step felt like she was walking through quick sand, and wearing a weight on her ankles.

Michael watched her go, before looking down at Justin. He let out a sigh, before picking up the body. He went back to the old warehouse. They never seen someone as distraught as her. He let out a sigh, he got the body in a coffin ready for burial, he healed the gun shot wounds to make it look like as he was sleeping only he knew he wasn't going to wake up.

Natalie continued on to the house she lived in with the kids. She would continue to live and work for them. She enters the house and collapsed on the couch falling into a deep sleep. Her body needed to heal from the stress of the night.

Michael looked at the time, a few hours had passed before he checked the time. It was almost sunrise, he got Justin's gravestone ready. He never really saw this coming anyway that he would be making a grave for a Lycan, with what judging did last night, he thought the Lycan deserved it at the very least.

Natalie stirred awake one of the kids shaking her. "I had a bad dream mama." Michelle says with tears in her eyes. Natalie smiles sadly and sits up.
"That's alright. We're bound to have bad dreams. Come here." Natalie says as she plays with the kids hair, Michelle cuddling into her arms.
"Where Justin go?"
"Where did, Michelle. And...he's not coming back." She says softly.
"He move?" It would be best to tell a little white lie here.
"Let's just say he shares the sky." She says still toying with Michelle's hair. "Now go back to sleep sweetheart. We both need it." She says closing her eyes.

By morning, they had the burial ready it was raining when they got finished. Michael had walked up to the house. "Natalie just letting you know now the funeral will be tonight so then the other.....people can pay there respects to him." He let out a sigh, "and I'm sorry about Justin he wasn't supposed to go down this way."

When the door knocked, Natalie went to the door and saw the leader of the rouges. "It was either by that fall or by my hand. I promised to end it. I just...took too long to do it. Thank you for telling me. I will have to continue giving excuses to the kids. He gave them a bit of fun when there's nothing to look forward to." She says sadly but gives the leader a shaky smile. "You've been very kind. If there is something I may do for you in thanks for that, let me know." She says. She knew that she shouldn't get involved with the supernatural again, but wanted to give the vampire something for thanks. She wasn't one to let a kindness go like that.

Michael shook his head, "no it's fine you don't have to give anything in return to us." He sighed, then shook his head, "you loved him didn't you?" He was careful not to mention Justin's name, he knew it was touchy subject to that since Justin's death was still fresh in her mind still.

Natalie smiles sadly. "Better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all. Its really hard to think of it that way though. Yes. I do. Its going to be a while yet till this heals." She says and pulls a hand through her hair with a sigh. She turns her head Michelle tugging her shirt.
"I'm thirsty."
"Well its almost morning anyway, so you might as well stay up. You can even help me around the house." Natalie says ruffling her hair. "I'll be there. Thank you very much for inviting me." She says. "Have a nice day." She says kindly as she turns away closing the door and went to take care of the kids. She had a duty to them and it was really the only thing keeping her functioning.

Michael let out a sigh, before he made the trek back to the warehouse. By evening, the vamps were taking the coffin to the place they would bury Justin. Michael thought for a moment, we've never buried a Lycan before so I don't know what were supposed to do I guess we can go by human burial for now he looked up to the sky at the full moon, "he should be out tere hunting tonight," he didn't know he spoke the words aloud.

Natalie at sunset had the kids stay at home and went to the funeral being led by another rouge vampire. She heard what the leader said and thought her words. "He is. In spirit, he walks through the skies running free from any worries." She says dressed in dark blue colors and not the traditional black. She wasn't one for convection. She had to believe he was happy in the afterlife as she wouldn't be for quite some time here, living.

Michael nodded to her words, Justin in spirit had to say one last thing to Natalie before he moved on. "I will be hunting in spirit Natalie, but I'll always make sure to watch out for you. You gave me hope when others didn't, and I'll always love you one day you'll rejoin me, but for now I want you to be happy with the life you have." He whispered the words in her ear, he smiled one last smile the tattoo still there on his shoulder before he faded.

Natalie clutched at the shirt in her hands, wanting to rip into something tears blocking her sight. She broke down, finally letting out the heart wrenching sobs that she had been holding back since she found out that his heart no longer beat. She raged, hitting the ground as she continued to let out her sadness. For who knew how long she just cried, until she had no more tears to spare her shoulders still shaking as she did her best to smooth out her breathing.

Michael looked as she broke down, he bowed his head. He didn't know the Lycan well really, but just for her to breaks down he must've been a really good guy to her. He let a sigh escape his lips, he hadn't seen someone break down like that in years.

Natalie sat on the ground wiping her face down. "Well now I feel foolish." She says softly but takes another deep steadying breath. "But...a whole lot better." She says laying on the grass looking up at Michael. "You were more than generous with giving your natural enemy a burial. It means a lot that you would honor him so." She says stretching as she slowly got herself up. "I must go back and look after the kids." She says pulling at her hair. "I hope to see you again under better circumstances."

Michael watched her go, "hey just remember he'll always be watching over you in the stars. That he would give up a second chance at life for you any day Natalie don't forget what he did." He let out a breath, as they lowered the coffin into the ground, and started to shovel dirt back in the grave.

"Well I'm not going to be waiting till then. I'll probably get better. Fall in love again some day. So...maybe I will when I pass from this world." Natalie says with a smile. "Who knows?"
