Lucien gave the girl a pat on the head and grinned, "heh, I'm not sure if I can do the same," he narrowed his eyes at the virtuoso and snickered. "But I'm definitely not losing to Lute!" The summoner turned towards Cammie with a grin. "We'll be playing too," he picked up on the rifles, resting the butt on his shoulder, Lucien shut one of his eyes then took aim. He missed the target completely... "I erm, meant to do that. Yeah, yeah, just getting used to the weapon." The summoner tried again and to his dismay, most of his shots missed. By the end of it, he managed to hit the target twice in the torso but that was pretty much it. He wondered how Trixie or Lisette managed to hit targets that were actually moving. Hell, he had a new found respect for ranged fighters. "Ah, I've been bested by the pixie." Dramatically, he grabbed at his chest and winced. "I'm a man of honor though, so if Lute manages to hit more targets than me, then cotton candy for everyone." He nodded his head excitedly. "Maybe we can grab some ice cream too, yeah?" This would definitely hurt his wallet, but Lucien wasn't exactly good at funding and whatnot. If something piqued his interest, he'd most likely buy it. Don't look so glum, maybe you can try winning something for your niece? That way you can cheer her up with a fluffy new companion." She nodded her head and hoped he would stop sulking. Despite her earlier suspicions, she couldn't help but feel sorry for him. Moira approached one of the stalls, the one with the rings, but things didn't exactly go well. Xan approached the berserker then tapped her on the shoulder. "I found something else that might be more to your liking." She grinned then pointed at test your strength game. A man had been talking into a megaphone and challenging people. In the past couple of minutes a guy had tried to lift the mallet over his head, but he ended up with a sore back and a bruised ego. The mallet did look heavy, but to be honest, Moira's sword looked like it weighed a lot more. "I'm sure you'd be able to win." They were even giving out prizes to those who managed to hit the thing hard enough to make the bell ring.
