Name:
Malius, or Mal

Age:
27

Gender:
Male

Personality:
Malius has a very analytic mind, accompanied by an affinity for insanity. Albeit an odd one. Rather than rejoicing in the sight of blood as many would believe he does, rather he loves pure, unstained death, and will refuse the use of any weapon. He prefers fighting solely with his hands, using mainly grapels, throws, and pressure points to subdue opponents, and while doing so he relies heavily on his tengu. Fighting this way, he attempts to leave bodies as clean as possible with as few traces of blood as he can muster. The mere sight of it sickens him.

Goals/Motive:
His driving factors are his three greatest interests, those being the concepts of: Death, fate, and perfection. And while those are his three goals that he has sought after, his one driving force is that of perfection. You see, he has never experienced perfection in any living creature; the most vile, and insane person would always have some sort of motive, meaning the weren't truly perfectly evil. And the bravest of champions would always have some selfishness in his desires, showing he wasn't perfectly good. With this revelation he searched after what his tengu was unable to show him. His first thought was Death. A death so pristine, the living would look down, not with pity, but with envy, for the afterlife could very well be true serenity. His following thought was that of the belief in fate. He wasn't one who had believed in such things. However, he now seeks to see if fate could not only be the definition, but the cause of his much sought after perfection.

Bio/History:
Malius had lived as a noble, deep within the Aaester Kingdom. His parents had been obsessed with perfection, their house had been one of the greatest examples. It was a perfect cube, divided into eight living quarters. The house was no wider than it was tall, and each room was the perfect shape, each one had been so well kept, they seemed more like prizes than living quarters. Malius hated their wasting of time on such trivial matters. There were more important things than their house, like himself for example. He spent his hours with tutors, and books, rarely ever socializing, developing a distaste for the very meaning of life itself. After all, it was something that others selfishly grasped onto, whereas they could simply disregard it for others? Unfair.

However, after a time he had finally received his wanted attention on almost everyday following his 13th birthday his parents had pampered him, groomed him, and gave him unrivaled attention. It felt like victory, complete and utter victory. However, this pampering wasn't to fill his own needs, rather it was to fill their own.

On his 15th birthday, rather than waking up in his soft, comfortable bed, he'd awoken strapped down to a steel chair, leather straps binding his legs, arms, and neck, holding him fast against the chair. And when he'd looked up, he could see both his mother, and father staring down at him, with not only satisfaction in their eyes but also an unmistakable amount of glee, their grins stretching from ear to ear. His father leaned down, his face a few inches from his son's ear. "Don't worry son, with this you will be true perfection,"

His mother had followed suite,"With this gem, you're going to be my perfect little boy. Just wait, you'll see. My sweet." Malius looked to his left to see a doctor stroll in, sweat creasing his brow, and a look of excitement in his eyes.

"The compatibility of your boy is stupendous! At this rate, we'll be looking at some smooth sailing down the road." The excitement in his eyes disappeared for a moment."Sir, are you sure you really want to do this to your own son? The process is going to be excruciating, and the after effects could be..."

"I'm fully aware. You'll be starting immediately, and I want no more talk of what you are getting paid to prevent." With this, the doctor scurried off, and Malius drifted off into what was most likely a drug induced sleep.

This time, waking up was different, he could feel a could lump being pushed against his throat, it was only a normal push at first, but slowly it began to exceed what he thought possible. With every notch it increased it's strength, he could also feel two quick beats, sending agonizing pain shooting through his very being. Thud-thud, pain. Thud-thud, pain. He realized it was his heartbeat, at some point it became painful to live. He could now feel the cold hard thing separating his skin, feeling like a torch was being stuck into his collar, causing a burning feeling. However, as it pushed deeper his feelings began to overlap. His pain rapidly multiplied, almost exactly doubling what he had felt before. Although, it was odd. He was unable to open his eyes throughout this torture, and yet he could see in his mind a clear image of a white ceiling, accompanied by his father's look of success and his mother's look of defeat. And, sure enough he was suddenly able to open his eyes again, and clearly seeing the image that had been displayed previously. The pain suddenly stopped coursing throughout his body, and instead it was only focused on a few areas. His head, and the stone embedded into his neck.

However, his mother had been unsatisfied. The surgery had gifted him his own Tengu, seemingly hardwired into his system. But, it had caused his eyes to change colours to a glowing pink, accompanied by a streak leading to his left eye. She had wanted his brain to be affected, not his sight! The mere thought of him lead her mind to words such as failure, or imperfection. She decided to erase him herself.

However, with his Tengu, she was no match, for the 15 year old Malius, who had witnessed her attack continuously through his eye, knowing exactly which path to take to ensure his livelyhood. And as he looked down at his mothers dead, lifeless body he saw her as he'd never seen her before. Completely beautiful, someone he could truly love(Excluding the ten finger shaped bruises encircling her neck) Ah... So, is this the true perfection you had fought after mother? Or is your afterlife your only remedy for your desire's for perfection? He thought to himself. He was able to foresee his father busting down the door before killing his son in a few seconds, so he made his escape through an open window, a few feet away, and decided what better a place to look for perfection than the military?

The following years, he'd quickly soared through the ranks, thanks to his tengu and after 12 years has earned his place among the jaegers, an elite group, built to hunt down other Tengu users.

Tengu:

Name:
Analytic Amethyst

Creation:
It's said that there were three processes behind the Amethysts creation. Flame, science, and magic. The stone itself was originally a thick, black, empty shell, created in the deepest depths of a volcano, using magic to extract it from the volcano, magic was used to deliver it to a team of scientists, studying the likelihood this rare stone had potential for greatness. And thus, some of the greatest minds were poured into it. Figuratively, and literally. The magic wielders quickly turned on the scientists, forcing their very essences into the stone, granting it a purple hue. Some may say that the scientists live on within the stone, their vengeful souls forever trapped, despising life itself.

The stone was also embedded into Malius's chest. A process not needed for regular use.

Type: Support/Utility

Required Compatibility:
uncalculated touch of a traitor The Amethyst requires a wise mind, accompanied by the pain of betrayal, whether slight or large, the betrayal needs to have a least affected on either an emotional or psychotic level, thus drastically darkening the users sense of what is right in this world. Users commonly display emotions such as resourcefulness, self-pity, hatred, and distrust.

Main Ability:
Foreseeable foresight This grants the user the ability to foresee other's moves 5-20 seconds in advance, allowing them to calculate the future for any movement they does in the foreseen future, and how their opponent will react. (However, with the stone inserted into his chest, this reduces Malius's foreseeable time down to 1-8 seconds, but allows him to trigger it with less strain, easier, and without hindering his movements. This also exclusively clouds his vision in his right eye, whereas no such thing would occur for others.)

Hidden Ability:
Foresight of foresight With intense focus, using the Analytic Amethyst one can multiply their foresight by 6 times their original limits. However, this cause's weariness, hunger, and can hinder the user greatly. It also hugely amplifies the available futures that could happen with the users actions, thus it is rarely used.

Analytic Awareness This is a passive ability, giving the user a heightened sense of his or her surroundings.

How did your character obtain their Tengu? His Tengu was implanted into his chest by his Mother and Father, in hopes that they would have the perfect child.

Equipment/Assets:
Hand-to-Hand training He's been training himself in Hand-to-Hand combat since he'd joined the military, and took lessons from anyone he could. All so he could preserve his kills.

Thin lab coat His light clothing suits his fighting style, allowing him to move fast, and strike where/when he needs to.
