Be careful what you wish for because you might just get it. Her father always warned her. She never did understand him. Until now, that is. Aurelia nearly jumped out of her skin when Maggie approached her. She wasn't expecting her and somehow did not see her coming (she was all too wrapped up in whether or not people would be properly dressed for bed) so when she popped up, the girl nearly screamed in surprise. Luckily (for her) she did not let out that scream, but her expression clearly gave it away. As she tried to calm herself down, she inhaled and exhaled deeply before turning to Maggie. She was actually quite surprised that she had approached her, and looked at her rather curiously. It then hit Aurelia that she needed to respond to her question. "Oh, um..." She cleared her throat slightly as she rubbed her arm, nervously shifting her weight from one leg to another. It wasn't like Maggie was a complete stranger, but at the same time, her hyperness kinda scared the girl. But she said she was glad to see her! That meant something, right? She was used to people getting annoyed with her, so it was nice. Sort of. "I...yes, that was..." Just my social anxiety like always. She wanted to say, but it didn't come out. "I am fine, thank you." She responded quietly, finally managing to string together a complete sentence. Even if it was no more then five syllables.
