Winterink Winter stretched and walked out of her cave to the wide, swift flowing river and took a drink. The sun glinted off her ice-white scales and melted the fluffy snowflakes drifting from her scales as they rubbed against themselves. Winter sat up from where she was sitting, licking water off her muzzle, her face turned towards the warm rays of the sun. She yawned, her bluish-white teeth glinting like ice. Every thing about her gave off this wintry look, as if she was winter itself. She unfurled her wings and stood, arching her spine to pop all the kinks out. Better get going. I wanna get there before noon. She thought to herself. She stretched her legs and wings, getting warmed up. She started a smooth lope that soon turned into a run. She ran towards the cliff that created the waterfall and jumped off the edge. Her wings spread wide open, catching the air like a pair of shimmering sails. Winter rarely flew by the village in the sun, for if you looked at her in the sun, her scales which were shimmery lik ice, you would be blinded by the sun that reflected off her body. She flew with ease, her wings rotating in their sockets. Winter increased her speed, the wind whistling in her round ears. Winter rumbled in happiness. Or was it her stomach? She hadn't eaten yet so it could be. Oh well she would eat when she got there.A few hours later she was there, seeing the other dragons, she circled in the air as she looked for a place to land. I hope my scales aren't blinding anyone. She thought. She saw an opening and landed smoothly a few feet away from the other dragons, most of which were in their compact forms, sure that if she got any closer she would blind everybody. This was only her second festival and she didnt know anybody here. She shifted into her compact form and walked forward nervously, fiddling with her whiteblonde hair.
