What does a high-strung roleplay consist of I’m curious…

- Strict Posting schedules, possibly including word count, aesthetic appeal, literary technique and hours-between-posts - Creative ingenuity and innovation, often without actually creating new content - The downplay of strength in favor of unique twists and appeals - The influence on plot and setting in opposition to the immediate influence of power and/or romance - The use of other plot devices than the ever-so-common ones such as Dues Ex Machina, budding romance, etc - Character development in roleplay in opposition to prior to the roleplay - Character development prior to the roleplay (Real Catch 22 here.If you have one without the other in any case, it's normally considered a flaw) - Character alignment, adherence to personality and/or convictions, etc
Just a few traits of the more strict, high-strung roleplay brackets.
Hey – don’t diss the Andracos :P He’s amazing I’d totally date Andracos But apparently I’m odd
Sounds like an expression of some kinks, imo.
I find a lot of you here have a warped perspective of what is truly powerful…
Power is all about perspective. The most powerful person in the roleplay, as stated, seemingly performs nigh-omnipotent wishes. In terms of combat, there is no perspective or comparison for power in this roleplay. In terms of the higher tiers of demons and angels, there are not examples provided. In essence, we don't have a warped perspective on anything. There isn't enough information to truly create a valid one, thus leaving yours the only real opinion on power levels. Even I have no idea what is truly powerful within the confines of this roleplay because you haven't set any anchors for it.
Everybody… everybody wants to touch my face…
False! I has no desire to touch the face of a taken lady, for I am the Gentlemen Beast. On a sidenote, however, a lot of people refuse to believe I exist IRL, so... For instance, yesterday was our evaluation by our Regional Corporate Office. I shit you not, the lead consultant was evaluating me and my buddy Hayden, whom prior split the bill to buy the entire crew energy drinks and power shots. They were like "Where did you find these guys? We've never seen a crew so amp'd up and motivated by people that look fresh out of school" (He's 21 and I'm 20; sidenote, I was one of the youngest in my graduating class). They pull us both in the Office and there they discuss our positions. He's basic Shift, but I'm Assistant of the People Department, who's head actually just got fired. They pulled out my stat board, which has my ratings, numerical values, basically things that are insanely good that have been documented and proven. In the whole store, I have the highest stats in five of seventeen stations, basically did the job of the Department Manager while working part time, have two record stats in the district. I'm trained to perform in every single station in the building, and do so adequately to the very least. I've been tested and approved in all of them. After yesterday, they're looking at promoting me, which would make me a) the first part-time Department Head and b) the youngest one in the history of our current owner. All while the franchise rep (female) said "You come off as a punk when we walk in. Shirt unbuttoned, hair styled, slight alterations to your uniform. We just don't associate handsome young men with high tiers of management... then you ran floor." Anyway, enough of that. I have an adventure to go on, and I'm taking my immunity to the pretty and sexy with me.
