With nothing really better queued in his judgement, Sazh is probably just gonna follow Saber's lead; the only real reason of that being "she seems like like Lightning but without the headstrong stubbornness." Honestly, I feel the best way to portray Sazh's allegiances in this scenario just revolve around him making parallels to his previous allies.

@Dblade: Well, it IS pretty dark in the cave. You could have him hiding in the corners, or something. After all, you have vision when the others have to rely on light sources.

Frankly, I want absolutely nothing to do with Ghost Rider and neither would Morito. At all. and going where other people are was the exact opposite point of what I was trying to do.

Edit: Though maybe I'll just roll with it anyways since the alternative seems to be 'do nothing'

I'm not sure what you want us to do about it. Our posts were already up before yours. :/

I suppose Morito could still go off on his own if that's really what you're going for. He'd just have to go somewhere else.

Edit: Sorry if I came off as harsh, I've just been having a lot of trouble figuring out what to post and I felt like if I couldn't think of something soon I'd fall too far behind.

Ouch. Really, what's the problem with ghost rider? I don't see anyone complaining about vash, who is also technically immortal. Or even the system lord.

Well, for one, Vash doesn't look incredibly evil, nor does he hurt people by simply looking them in the eyes :P. So yeah, there are two IC reasons, even ignoring any OOC ones.

The System Lord's not immortal outside of the parasite and unaging thing, and Vash would never use his regenerative abilities In-character and his being unaging also isn't a problem. Also Ghost Rider's immortality isn't the only reason I want nothing to do with him.

I don't want to bring any more hostility than I already have into this game, but I will be avoiding Ghost Rider whenever possible and I'll leave it at that.

Technically Ba'al does age. He just has the Sarcophagus to prevent death, and even it wears out eventually. Before Lord Yu got shanked the guy had gone pretty much senile as is, so that would theoretically happen to Ba'al as well. Just not in the time scale we care about. And without the Sarcophagus tech he's a lot more vulnerable than in regular SG.

Also, Ba'al has a persona that doesn't scream 'evil', and he's gone to great pains to hide the fact that he's a manipulative, megalomaniacal, egotistical bastard.

The whole looking at people and causing them pain if they look him in the eye is kind of one of my reasons, um... I honestly think having it work on anyone who's ever caused pain is kind of dumb and makes it hard to interact with him.

... I have other reasons but um.

he was using his penance stare at that time, yes. He was in a situation he never encountered before and was on the defensive.
It's not a permanent thing.
And honestly, I can't fix things you don't tell me. So go ahead and list them all. I can always, iunno, tone him down a bit? Give him more limitations? Maybe since he's away from mephisto's reach he cannot use his penance stare for more than a few minutes.
I'd much rather be told what makes people not like him then just know people don't like him. It's crap like this that makes me leave roleplays.

Have to say one of my reasons I'm annoyed with Ghost Rider is both IC and OOC.

There really was no reason to attack the volcano wyvern thingy. Saber's not one to back down from a fight but seriously.
