Yog, It's just a matter of diversity. Sure Jonah Hex is a bounty hunter but he fits the "Lone Ranger" mold pretty well and Sixgun is this thread's lone ranger. Any western-based character would probably look the same as Sixgun so thats why I'd prefer different character types or niches to be filled. 

Capitalism is all well and good but in America it is much too unrestrained. There is no incentive in a Capitalist system to be moral and responsible unless the State ensures there is. There are a lot of changes that America needs. 

Also cost of living in New York and California is getting obscenely high, thus why so many are moving to the Sunbelt states despite lower wages.

Also there may or may not be a Fabletown analogue in this universe
