So I've been browsing/stumbling across some addons and I wanted to share them with you guys. Just as a disclaimer: I am not necessarily pushing for these to be implemented. They're just ideas I thought might be interesting post-reset to add more to the game. If people don't like them, that's fine. The only aim here is to try to keep more of us into it longer. Here's what I've got so far: Big trees addon I wouldn't want to generate the world with big trees necessarily, just to be able to make them. Look pretty cool. And it requires an emerald block so it's not too easy to abuse. Factories addon Looks like it could be cool for something else to do in game, mass producing mats, trading, specializing, etc. Ore detecter--like a metal detector irl This one isn't even that necessary, but it claims to make trench mining less mind numbing (tho I find it relaxing) and doesn't seem hax at all. Just gives you beeps if you happen to be anywhere near some ores. Add faction info the dynmap This just seems utilitarian. You can see faction areas/claims on the dynmap page to keep track of claimed areas and all that. Could be cool. Greenhouse addon This can be used to create a small biome of your choice in an isolated area...like on an island in the ocean or sky, maybe even underground. You can configure the biome and the behavior of it within the glass walls. exp bank store and withdraw exp/levels. could be useful if you're worried about dying, if you do die a lot, or if you have a bunch of levels you don't need to use ASAP and would rather keep them somewhere until you do. Also I don't know of a specific one that's best (tbh some of the instructions for finding/installing it were confusing) but an economy plugin might also be neat. Let me know what you guys think about these!
