Like I said, this is not possible.

You find a vein and you mine it, you can get double or even triple. I found 2 veins mashed together so it was like 10 ore blocks that I mined to get 30 ore blocks. Now if I place one down then grab it up again with my silk touch, it doesn't do shit. It [i]only[/i] works on pre-generated blocks, it's not exploitable. All I would do is waste durability on my silk touch pick.

Believe you me, smiral and I may have truckloads of diamonds thanks to mcmmo, but there's no duplicating happening.
