Did you guys decide what you're going to get carried over into the new world?
It looks like mcmmo levels for one...

Giygas told us mcmmo levels and any items we want will be transfered over. Someone else told me modded (signs added) chests make them easier to identify to move, but I honestly have no idea how stuff will be transfered.

Keeping mcmmo levels alone would have been the perfect way to "not lose everything you worked for" and have a fresh start. I wish I knew that was on the table back when we were still talking about it. Fresh starts are fun, you guyz. Really. You guys?Nah, but I guess I'll take my fair share of transferred items. Hopefully we're not talking about entire collections, tho.

I'm taking everything I have.

Well fuck.

;Dto be fair, I've put it all in one area and a big chunk of it is also smiral's stuff. Then a smaller chunk is also sophi's stuff.we took over her house.

I wish I was able to convince you that keeping items between worlds is a poor choice. *snark and arguments redacted*

Last summer I had a server I was on all summer and I really grew to love it. Knew all the people, did voice calls with them, had all these injokes and maymays (jurbans), etc. Then the server did a reset and I lost all my drive to play. Granted, I got busy in the fall, but there was a bout month gap in there that I just didn't care anymore. I take a while to warm up to a new server and once I get settled resetting kills any momentum and investment I have. Just how I am, maybe it's not so for other people. I think this is a good middle ground.

Man, I just wanna make pretty houses. And eventually work up to a nice castle.
Awson said I could understand if it was single player Minecraft, but it's not. What's the point of multiplayer if you're not on an even playing field with everyone else?
Awson said In my mind, the absolute funnest part of Minecraft is building yourself anew and working with the limited resources you have.

You can always just not have your stuff transferred and start fresh yourself. It's not like other people having things will have any effect on your own personal play, unless you choose to let it have that impact. But if it's such a bit problem for you that you don't want to play on the server any more after the reset, then I guess that's fine too.
Robeatics said
Yeah, Awson. Sorry, but I gotta agree with Jorick. There's no one way to enjoy yourself here. Just chill and have fun.

And yes fresh starts are fun, but I put a lot of work into what I've acquired.
