Feeling a bit dejected, Tobias wandered glumly back to his living quarters after being ushered out of the clinic. He avoided the cafeteria. Eating was for the weak. Plus none of the other residents were overly fond of him for some reason. There was some time to pass before the next routine meeting. Luckily his residence came fit with an aerobics pool. It was admittedly quite nice, but it would never be home. Never. He morphed into a walrus and fumbled into the pool with all the grace of a half-viking half-marine animal mutant. As he swam in intricate, well-rehearsed patterns, tears flowed from his eye cavities as the salt from the tears mixed with the chlorine. In truth, while he put on a gruff outer appearance, he was a delicate seal-pup on the inside, merely trying to live up to his overbearing Nordic ancestry.
