does anyone mind if i steal my character idea from an existing game and character? i've used him for other rps and i really like him. my account is named after him. he's a character i created on Guild Wars. his background, however is completely original. the race is the only thing i took from gw. well, the setting of the homeland too, but i made it different so i wasn't completely ripping them off.

Laufey I'd say a mix, but part of the reason I made an interest check is to see what overbearing genre to make it. So, which one would you prefer?

Zmerr If I can accept the race as a whole, I don't think I have a problem with it (as long as the character is good). Same question to you Zmerr, would you prefer a sci-fi or a fantasy setting?

personally fantasy but sci-fi is totally cool too. if it's sci-fi i have to come up with a new character. but that might be good for me.

my original plan was to play an asura, but i realize that they are quite an odd race. i may have to create a new character for either genre now that i really think about it. but it's ultimately your choice in the end :)

Unless I get a strong support for one genre I will likely make it a multiversal story. So if you have an opinion, scream it out!
(there is always an option of making two separate stories, one sci-fi and the other fantasy.)

It depends on how you define Fantasy or sci-fi, Fantasy could mean anything really. Hundreds of years in the past, or right now. But with Magic.

I'm up for either, and would generally prefer Fantasy.

Then so far it is gonna be a fantasy story, lovely.
I guess two people is enough for a little game of hide and seek, so I'll start making the OOC, hopefully I will have it up within two days.

Yeah, you don;'t always need a large group of people for an RP, you can still have fun with just a couple of people.

I know the feeling. I went through my subscriptions and deleted the dead and uninteresting ones, but I kept this one. I'm still interested.
