Well if you wanna hear some of my personal favorite male companions, I suggest checking out Jamie and Adric - Jamie being a Highlander from 18th century Scotland (with the [i]cutest[/i] accent <3) who traveled with the Second Doctor, and Adric being a kid math prodigy from the planet Alzarius, who traveled with the Fourth and Fifth Doctors.
