Wow. I haven't done DnD since last year since the only guy willing to GM transferred. So, I play a Savage Worlds sort of thing. It's very... Pulpy. Aka... My character runs out to save everyone from the enemy, gets blasted with bullets. turns to look at her friends, gives them an okay sign. "I'm... f-fine!" falls out. Days later, is perfectly fine. Lol.
