Was that ever a serious question? I wasn't aware. 

And I would tend to disagree. Sure, her Semblance may be a big advantage, but knowing how to fight is just as important as being physically strong. Otherwise, you might as well say that, for example, that Sonic would be useless if it weren't for his speed, or that Cyclops would be useless if it weren't for his eye laser. Does she run the risk of having an over reliance on her Semblance? Yes. But at the same time, she has the quick thinking and smarts to use both her semblance and weapons effectively in a fight to win. She had to have had something besides a cool ability to win the Mistral tournament, presumably, so that shows that she has some other traits that must make her the kind of fighter we've been hearing about,
