Vanessa took the keys from Ace, a slightly playful smile on her face considering that she wasn't the greatest driver. "No guarantees it comes back spotless," she said in a what could be considered almost flippant manner, and pulled open the door to Ace's dazzling red car. She slid into the front seat, leaving Genesis and Heretic to battle over the passenger side. She appraised their clothing with a smidgen of embarrassment, seeing as they were all dressed to impress while Vanessa had donned a casual jacket and tank top. Oh well. No use dwelling on trivial matters like what goddamn clothes she was wearing. Vanessa also noticed Heretic had on makeup, and she envied her ability to wield a mascara wand just as efficiently as a gun. Guns seemed so much easier, in Vanessa's opinion. What guns boiled down to was "pull the trigger". Mascara wands...they were delicate little instruments made for applying mascara to teeny-tiny eyelashes. Yes. Much more difficult to handle than a gun. All the equipment was taking up quite a bit of space in the car, and she laughed, though not unkindly, at Genesis's predicament. "Hopefully it won't be too long of a drive," she said. "Though, I'm really not sure. And if we wreck....I can't say that it won't happen, because there's a small-mind you, a very, very small-chance that it might happen," Vanessa told him, a crooked grin on her face.
