No, I think it would be best to save him for a one on one. We can go full out that way and not have to worry about other fighters.

Likely because he believes the paralysis net will affect Rauchnaut normally.

not really believe, more know. it works by screwing with the energy signals sent throughout the body. collecting and blocking them from getting through for a short time and then letting them all through at once, making the person first go limp then practically seizure depending on how hard they were trying to move and causing pain. with Rauchnaut being not flesh and blood it would weaken the effect partially but not enough for it to matter.

and even without all the science behind it the nets description on my cs has accidentally been left (and accepted) as "net: a one use energy net that temporarily paralyses whatever it touches (lasts one turn, second turn anyone effected starts getting feeling back ((hurts a bit and moves slower)), third turn they're back to normal)" meaning that the person it touches doesn't matter as long as someone touches it.

mix that with lith's second form and no matter how tough the armour is he has no way of surviving
"second form: lith is able to change into an 8 foot lance made up of self-rotating sections covered in petal shaped 'teeth' making the lance basically a giant drill bit. also covering up to the shoulder in what looks like leaves and flowers but is actually more blades forming armor plating on the arm"

Interesting.. It would seem that Wire would have an advantage against such a net. What stops the net from blocking the signals forever? Is it resistance from the signals themselves, which then flood through and cause spasming?

no, it's limited by the energy it takes to do it's work. with only a limited amount of power it can only hold it for one turn. when max himself is stronger the net can last longer and theoretically if max kept pouring power into it then it could last as long as he's doing so.

l'm guessing that he can't do anything while he holds up the net though, unless its had some power put into it ahead of time. Otherwise, thats pretty OP! XD

Ok, first things first: Ambiguity in a CS is not a license to powergame. Sometimes the reviewers miss something that will need to be clarified if it comes up later on in a PG manner. After all, (and contrary to popular opinion ;) ) I'm not god.

When I read the net power originally I had assumed that it operated on the basis of interrupting the neurological signals from the target's brain, and was too preoccupied with the more blatantly PG aspects of the character's abilities to give it the attention it deserved. Now that it's come up again, I can say that the way you describe it working (interrupting and stockpiling the body's electrical impulses then releasing them all at once) is fine, but just flat out saying that it paralyses anything and everything just because is definitely OP. When I read abilities like that, I assume that their damage is based on use against a human (unless otherwise specified), and so their use on other beings will have varying effects. That's a given with just about any ability.

i understand that, which is why i started with the proper explanation. i may have been a little to quick to post the second bit though (i was half asleep, it seemed like a good idea to say that stuff at the time >__>) and as for who it's set up to be used against, it's mainly set up to be used against general enemies and those of max's races

and he can't use any of his other abilities, but he can still use his swords, which is why he usually pins it somewhere and waits. a bit like a spider web.
