Oh, by the way Shifter, I thought our characters could develop a bit of a rapport. It feels like their outlooks are contrasting yet complementary, so I thought Auguste could mentor Adam a bit in the hopes of quelling his need for superiority. I doubt your character would buy the philosophical stuff mine would spew out, but he could see the opportunity to push further, since Auguste has such a mastery over the underlying structure of magic.

It's just an idea that seemed to make sense. Let me know what you think :)
